Overcrowding of narrow pavements on either side of Station Parade at peak times. Primary bus routes conflict with the major pedestrian desire line between the Station and East Street. Poor quality public realm visually detracts from the area. 24 Key walking routes are poorly overlooked, lacking active frontages and natural surveillance.
