çré-madhumaìgala–Kåñëa's funny brähmaëa friend Madhumaìgala; bagala<br />

bäjäy–makes a funny sound by slapping his hands under his armpits; ära<br />

deya–give me more!; hari-bolo–“Haribol! Haribol!”<br />

TRANSLATION<br />

Kåñëa's funny brähmaëa friend Madhumaìgala, who is very fond of laòòus,<br />

gets them by hook or by crook. Eating the laòòus, he shouts, "Haribol!<br />

Haribol!" and makes a funny sound by slapping his sides under his armpits<br />

with his hands.<br />

rädhikädi gaëe heri' nayanera koëe<br />

tåpta ho'ye khäy kåñëa jaçodä-bhavane<br />

SYNONYMS<br />

rädhikädi gaëe–Rädhäräëé and Her gopé friends; heri'–beholding; nayanera<br />

koëe–out of the corners of His eyes; tåpta ho'ye–being very satisfied; khäy<br />

kåñëa–Kåñëa eats; yaçodä-bhavane–at the house of Mother Yaçodä.<br />
