• deGree: 36 comm major + 80 outside comm (65 liberal arts + 15 outside comm; collateral courses count toward these units) + 4 additional = 120 units (minimum).
• titan deGree audit (tda): Use your TDA (available on Titan Online), in conjunction with advising, to monitor degree completion status.
• “c” requirement: Students must earn an overall GPA of 2.00 (“C”) or better in the major, as well as a “C” or better in 1) major courses that are prerequisites for other
major courses taken, 2) one [UDW] course, and 3) courses noted as “‘C’ required” on the checklist; a “C minus” will not fulfill a “‘C’ required” designated course.
• transFer courses: The registration system only recognizes prerequisite completion if the final grades (“C” or better) are correctly entered on the TDA. If transfer
prerequisites are not yet entered, you may need to submit documentation (e.g., copy of transcript) to the Department of Communications (CP-400) PRiOR to
enrollment. For a list of CA community college equivalencies, check http://www.assist.org; non-articulated courses may be approved: see a faculty advisor.
