1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS<br />

Please refer to the WWW specification sheet(s) for footwear construction and labeling information.<br />

Vendors must purchase all boxes, hang tags and other packing materials from suppliers authorized by<br />

<strong>Wolverine</strong> Sourcing, Inc. All supplier contact information will be provided to the vendor by <strong>Wolverine</strong><br />

Sourcing, Inc.<br />

2. UPC/SKU/PRICE LABELS<br />

Apply WWW UPC labels as shown on document VCP 7.5.1, section 4.11.<br />

Bob’s <strong>Stores</strong> price labels are to be printed by the factory. The labels must be white with black, Arial<br />

style lettering and 1.5” (3.8 cm) high x 1.5” (3.8 cm) wide. The labels will show the Bob’s <strong>Stores</strong><br />

department number, season code, shoebox number and BOB’S Low Price which will be provided on<br />

the WWW purchase order. Apply price labels to the left or right of the WWW UPC label. Samples must<br />

be approved by WWW prior to production.<br />

3. SHIPPING CARTONS & PACKING<br />

3.1 Carton requirements for footwear<br />

Top opening, regular slotted, double wall, C-flute corrugate construction.<br />

Minimum 175 pounds per square inch (PSI) bursting strength, 32 pounds per inch width edge crush<br />

test, paper weight 33-26-33-26-33.<br />

Glued carton joints. Staples are not permitted.<br />

Cartons must be sealed with tamper evident packing tape in an “H” pattern on top and bottom. Do<br />

not band the cartons.<br />

Cartons must meet the following weight and dimensional requirements:<br />

3.2 Packing footwear<br />

Pack per instructions given on WWW purchase order.<br />

Place shoe boxes in carton so that the UPC labels are facing upwards and all in the same direction.<br />

The quantity to be packed in each carton is shown on the WWW purchase order.<br />

Cartons should be packed one layer only.<br />

Pack a minimum of 6 pair per carton.<br />

4. SHIPPING CARTON MARKING<br />

4.1 Carton labels<br />

Apply the WWW barcode carton label (license plate) to the lower left corner of longest side. The lower<br />

edge of the label should be at least 1” (2.5 cm) from the bottom of the carton and the left edge of the<br />

label should be at least 1” (2.5 cm) from the side of the carton. WWW license plates are not required for<br />

First Cost type orders.<br />

4.2 Carton markings<br />

Markings must be stenciled on opposite sides in lettering at least 1/2” (1.5 cm) high.<br />

Main mark: BOBS (in diamond or triangle), final destination (ship-to) address, PO number, Bob’s<br />

<strong>Stores</strong> department number, WWW stock number, number of cartons (by store), country of origin.<br />

For prepacked orders, mark cartons as “PREPACK.”<br />

Side mark: PO number, style name, stock number, color, total number of pairs, size & width or size<br />

run & quantities, number of cartons, and weight & measurements.<br />

5. PACKING LIST<br />

For each purchase order, a complete packing list itemized by carton is to be attached to the lead carton<br />

(carton #1). The envelope containing the packing list must be clearly marked as “Packing List<br />

Enclosed.” Packing lists must include the following information:<br />

Ship-to addresses & store numbers (if applicable)<br />

PO number<br />

Bob’s <strong>Stores</strong> department number<br />

Carton numbers<br />

WWW stock number(s)<br />

Color<br />

Sizes & widths<br />

Failures to comply with these guidelines will result in charge backs per the customer’s charge back<br />

schedule.<br />
