Patient Safety Group Update - NHS Education for

NES Patient Safety Multi-disciplinary Steering Group (PSMSG): Update Example NES (including partnership) developments and activities which are contributing to the multi-disciplinary portfolio of the group Fiona Gailey and Philip Cachia (on behalf of the NES PSMSG) April 2011 (covering autumn 2010 - spring 2011) This briefing for colleagues, partners and other stakeholders is an update on selected activities supporting the evolving national partnership framework for patient safety, contributing to the Scottish Government Healthcare Improvement Strategy. Our work contributing to patient safety aligns and coordinates with other NES workstreams, including Healthcare-Associated Infection (Helen Maitland, Programme Director), Quality Improvement (Shona Cowan, Programme Manager) and Clinical Skills (Philip Cachia, NES Lead).
