Qualitative research should explore what teachers th<strong>in</strong>k about religion, disability, <strong>and</strong> the <strong>in</strong>tersection of the two <strong>in</strong> their practice. Students, parents, <strong>and</strong> special educators need opportunities <strong>in</strong> which to reflect on their beliefs about their spiritual <strong>and</strong> religious beliefs about developmental <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>tellectual disabilities <strong>in</strong> order to underst<strong>and</strong> how, when, <strong>and</strong> why these beliefs <strong>in</strong>fluence needs, service delivery <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>structional practices.
