- Development <strong>of</strong> SCADA system connecting all the<br />
Substation <strong>of</strong> UT Chandigarh for providing efficient<br />
infrastructure for Demand Side Management.<br />
- Strengthening and segregating the existing 11 KV<br />
system in PGIMER campus.<br />
3. Provided expert services for Thermovision Scanning<br />
and Hotline Maintenance to <strong>Power</strong> Utilities <strong>of</strong> Haryana<br />
and Delhi.<br />
4. Initiated the efforts for implementing ISO 9001 and<br />
14001 (Quality and Environment Management Systems)<br />
to cover entire BBMB.<br />
5. Participated jointly with CEA and SJVNL to address the<br />
Nangal Dam<br />
issues impeding the smooth running <strong>of</strong> the project and<br />
<strong>of</strong>fer recommendations/solutions there<strong>of</strong>.<br />
6. Initiated the possibilities <strong>of</strong> Carbon Trading by<br />
participating in Clean Development Mechanism<br />
(CDM) programme through sale <strong>of</strong> Certified Emission<br />
Reductions (CERs) generated by the projects under<br />
Renovation, Modernisation, and Up-rating (R,M&U)<br />
Programme <strong>of</strong> BBMB for its Hydro <strong>Power</strong> Stations. Clean<br />
Development Mechanism (CDM) is an implementation<br />
mechanism for meeting the commitments relevant to<br />
developing countries under the Kyoto Protocol (Article<br />
12) adopted by United Nations Framework Convention<br />
on Climate Change (UNFCC).
