Thanks to the MultiScreen-technology of the network-based netpix graphics controller series, it is possible to create a freely definable desktop<br />

surface for any large screen wall, projection, or single monitor. The netpix controller configures multiple sources in a network for one or more<br />

video walls. Diverse software applications, video signals, and data sources can be displayed and controlled on a single desktop. Netpix provides<br />

high-resolution images for the flexible, simple working, and optimised operation of your control room. <strong>Eyevis</strong>’ new <strong>NPX</strong>4800 series convinces<br />

with its innovative system architecture and its revolutionary enhanced performance thanks to the use of latest technologies, reduced power<br />

consumption, less noise emission, and highest flexibility in operation.<br />

System Architecture<br />

The <strong>NPX</strong> graphics controllers from the new<br />

4800 series are based on CPUs latest Intel®<br />

Xeon® Quad Core processors. This provides<br />

a decisively improved performance for the<br />

perfect display of any applications with<br />

Bus System<br />

The core of the system is an ultra-fast PCIe<br />

Switch Fabric with PCIe X8 slots and a total<br />

bandwidth of 100GB/s for the transmission<br />

of Windows® information, network data,<br />

video, digital streams and graphic signals to<br />

every output board. This provides a very high<br />

bandwidth without a decreasing frame rate<br />

when several input sources are displayed<br />

simultaneously.<br />

Desktop Management & Operating System<br />

The MultiScreen-ability enables the simultaneous<br />

display of data signals and various other<br />

The graphics controllers from eyevis’ netpix series are famous for their reliability and durability. Like all devices from the series, the latest<br />

generation versions are freely expandable and can be combined with associate devices to meet the requirements of every individual project.<br />

The system architecture of the netpix series enables a simple expansion of the hardware components and upgrade of the system. The<br />

controllers from the 4800 series support current operating systems like Windows® XP PRO 32/64 Bit, Win2003 Server 32/64Bit and Windows 7<br />

32/64Bit. This also enables the integration of new devices in already existing systems..<br />

Input Signal Processing<br />

The <strong>NPX</strong> 4800 can be configured with<br />

different input boards for the connection<br />

of IP video streams, encoders or DVRs in an<br />
