Thanks to the MultiScreen-technology of the network-based netpix graphics controller series, it is possible to create a freely definable desktop
surface for any large screen wall, projection, or single monitor. The netpix controller configures multiple sources in a network for one or more
video walls. Diverse software applications, video signals, and data sources can be displayed and controlled on a single desktop. Netpix provides
high-resolution images for the flexible, simple working, and optimised operation of your control room. Eyevis’ new NPX4800 series convinces
with its innovative system architecture and its revolutionary enhanced performance thanks to the use of latest technologies, reduced power
consumption, less noise emission, and highest flexibility in operation.

The NPX graphics controllers from the new
4800 series are based on CPUs latest Intel®
Xeon® Quad Core processors. This provides

Bus System
The core of the system is an ultra-fast PCIe
Switch Fabric with PCIe X8 slots and a total
bandwidth of 100GB/s for the transmission
of Windows® information, network data,
video, digital streams and graphic signals to
every output board. This provides a very high
bandwidth without a decreasing frame rate
when several input sources are displayed
simultaneously.

Desktop Management & Operating System
The MultiScreen-ability enables the simultaneous
display of data signals and various other
signal sources on a huge combined desktop
surface. The application windows can be freely
placed, moved and scaled on the video wall.
The operator has a big desktop with a very
high resolution at his disposal, which will be
multiplied by the number of displays within
the video wall.

Decisive advantages of the netpix 4800 series and its
associated solutions
The graphics controllers from eyevis’ netpix series are famous for their reliability and durability. Like all devices from the series, the latest
generation versions are freely expandable and can be combined with associate devices to meet the requirements of every individual project.
The system architecture of the netpix series enables a simple expansion of the hardware components and upgrade of the system. The
controllers from the 4800 series support current operating systems like Windows® XP PRO 32/64 Bit, Win2003 Server 32/64Bit and Windows 7
32/64Bit. This also enables the integration of new devices in already existing systems..
Input Signal Processing
The NPX 4800 can be configured with
different input boards for the connection
of different graphic and video signals. Even
future expansions and upgrades are possible.
Thanks to latest graphic processing these
input boards provide best image quality. The
analog and digital video and RGB windows
can be positioned and resized freely on the
video wall.

NPX4800-IPD8 – IP Video Streaming
eyevis’ fully digital solution for the decoding
of IP video streams, encoders or DVRs in an
IP network. The NPX4800-IPD8 allows the
simultaneous display of numerous camera
signals on the video wall. eyevis’ new decoding
solution supports almost any camera and
enables the fast switching between different
streams without dependence on the codec
type. It is also possible to integrate different
video management software tools. With the
NPX4800-IPD8 you can build up new networks
