THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS
Creighton Prep seeks any young man of promise interested in a Christian,
values–based education. Our students are “Men for Others” and we will help
them develop the strength to enrich mind, body and spirit. The criteria for
admission includes the application, 7th & 8th grade report cards and the
recommendation form.

Access the application at the FACTS website: www.factstuitionaid.com.
A copy of your 2011 tax return is required at the time of application.
While you do not need your 2012 tax forms to begin the process, 2012 tax
information will be required by FACTS at a later date.

and completed all the necessary forms. As financial aid applications are

TuITION AssIsTANCe
Prep’s tuition is comparable to other private schools in the
area and the school has a considerable amount of financial
aid available. Last year, 45% of Prep students received over
$2 million in financial assistance. To assist those students
who qualify academically, but who cannot afford tuition,
Prep has established a financial aid program similar to those
commonly offered by colleges and universities. Financial aid
is available in three forms: work grants, financial assistance
grants and scholarships.
WOrK grANTs
As far back as 1911, Prep has provided jobs at school to
help students pay their expenses. Students who qualify for
financial aid work during the summer and/or the academic
year. The $10 per hour “wage” is credited toward tuition.
The student must complete 100 hours of work to fulfill
the work grant.
FINANCIAl AssIsTANCe grANTs
This plan is available to those students who need additional
support beyond the Work Grant Program and is based on
the family’s ability to pay. Money given is directly applied
toward tuition costs.

Academic – Based solely on the January entrance exam score
• Presidential: 4-year, 15 available
• Labaj: 1-year, up to 10 available

PreP TeCHNOlOgy
Creighton Preparatory School is committed to excellence in
teaching and learning by actively engaging students in 21st century skills. Creighton Prep offers students, faculty and staff
an array of options for teaching and learning with technology.
We have wireless access throughout the entire campus, and
students are encouraged to bring their own devices for use in the
classroom. In addition, many faculty and administration have
iPads for academic and professional use. Two mobile carts, one
with 25 iPads and one with 23, are available for classroom teachers
to check out as they integrate technology into their curriculum.
If a teacher needs something other than mobile options, we also
have five labs for teacher check out. Students can access open labs
before school and during their lunch period. If students are free
during the day, they may use the computers in the library or the
open lab area.
Our curriculum areas also contain technology for use by
teachers and students. The science classrooms are set up with
iMacs to aid in experiments, the World Language Department
has a lab with 25 computers for listening and translation
activities, and several classrooms have six student computers
available for classroom activities.
