<strong>CIDCO</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Maharashtra</strong> <strong>Limited</strong> <strong>through</strong> <strong>the</strong> process <strong>of</strong> e-tendering invites<br />

“On-line” item rate percentage tenders from <strong>the</strong> experienced and eligible<br />

prospective bidders, registered with <strong>CIDCO</strong> Ltd., <strong>Maharashtra</strong> State PWD,<br />

CPWD, MJP, MIDC, MCGM who have completed work <strong>of</strong> similar type and<br />

nature for <strong>the</strong> work mentioned below :<br />

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<br />

1) Experience <strong>of</strong> having successfully completed similar type & nature <strong>of</strong> works<br />

during last 5 (Five) years ending last day <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> month previous to <strong>the</strong> one in<br />

which applications are invited (as per Format – A)<br />

a) One completed work <strong>of</strong> reclamation having value Rs. 245.0 lacs or more<br />

and one completed work <strong>of</strong> reinforced concrete channel/ drain/ culvert /<br />

Bridge /marine structure having value more than Rs. 435.0 lacs or more.<br />

OR<br />

b) Two completed works <strong>of</strong> reclamation having value Rs. 196.0 lacs or more<br />

and two completed works <strong>of</strong> reinforced concrete channel/ drain/ culvert/<br />

Bridge /marine structure having value more than Rs. 348.0 lacs or more.<br />

OR<br />

c) Three completed works <strong>of</strong> reclamation having value Rs. 147.0 lacs or more<br />

and three completed works <strong>of</strong> reinforced concrete channel/ drain/ culvert<br />

/Bridge /marine structure having value more than Rs. 260.0 lacs or more.<br />

2) Works <strong>of</strong> “Similar type and nature” shall mean :<br />

A project comprising <strong>of</strong> reclamation and RCC channel / drain / culvert / Bridge<br />

/marine structure both in individual contract or combined contract shall be<br />

considered as work <strong>of</strong> similar type and nature. In case <strong>of</strong> contracts <strong>of</strong> integrated<br />

type comprising <strong>of</strong> works <strong>of</strong> above type and nature having value fulfilling<br />

eligibility criteria; <strong>the</strong> bifurcation <strong>of</strong> each type shall be submitted in Format<br />

“A” along with documentary evidence.

3) Annual Turnover : The average annual turnover from construction works <strong>of</strong><br />

last three financial years should be greater than Rs.6.80 Crores (as per Format<br />

– B)<br />

4) Bid Capacity Criteria:<br />

The Prospective Bidder will be qualified only if <strong>the</strong>ir available bid capacity is<br />

more than <strong>the</strong> Estimated Cost <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> work as per notice inviting Tender. The<br />

available bid capacity will be calculated based on <strong>the</strong> following formula:<br />

Available Bid capacity = (2 x A x N) - B<br />

A= Average Annual Turn Over for last Three Financial Years.<br />

N= No. <strong>of</strong> years prescribed for Completion <strong>of</strong> this work.<br />

B= Balance value <strong>of</strong> works in hand prior to one month <strong>of</strong> date <strong>of</strong> submission <strong>of</strong><br />

tender for this work.<br />

5) The value <strong>of</strong> all financial figures (criteria no.1, 3 & 4) shall be brought to<br />

current pricing level by <strong>CIDCO</strong> by enhancing <strong>the</strong> actual value at simple rate <strong>of</strong><br />

7.0% per annum.<br />

6) Joint Venture/ Consortium are not permitted.<br />

7) The applicant must submit <strong>the</strong> pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> RMC plant owned by him in Navi<br />

Mumbai on within 25 Kms. by road, o<strong>the</strong>rwise he will be required to submit<br />

an undertaking to supply <strong>the</strong> RMC from <strong>CIDCO</strong> approved suppliers.<br />

NOTES:<br />

1) The Pre-qualification On-Line submission shall be accompanied by attested<br />

copies <strong>of</strong> Registration Certificate, valid Bank Solvency Certificate, Sales Tax<br />

Certificate (MVAT), Income Tax Permanent Account No., list <strong>of</strong> works in<br />

Hand (as per Format – C), list <strong>of</strong> Plant, Machinery and Equipments (as per<br />

Format – D), Organization Chart for present work (as per Format - E), details<br />

<strong>of</strong> Office Organization (as per Format – F).<br />

The applicant should also produce original documents for verification if<br />

called for. Failure to attach necessary documents with application will render<br />

applicant ineligible for purchase / download <strong>of</strong> blank tender without any<br />

intimation.<br />

2) Tender documents shall nei<strong>the</strong>r be sent nor received by Post/Courier.<br />

3) Right to issue tender documents is reserved with <strong>CIDCO</strong>. <strong>CIDCO</strong> reserves<br />

right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason and <strong>the</strong> same<br />

shall be at <strong>the</strong> entire discretion <strong>of</strong> <strong>CIDCO</strong>. <strong>CIDCO</strong>’s decision in this respect<br />

shall be final and binding.<br />

4) Conditional tenders shall be summarily rejected.

5) The <strong>of</strong>fer shall remain valid for a period <strong>of</strong> One Hundred Twenty (120) days<br />

from <strong>the</strong> date <strong>of</strong> submission <strong>of</strong> tender.<br />

6) EMD shall be submitted in <strong>the</strong> form <strong>of</strong> Bank Guarantee/ Demand draft in <strong>the</strong><br />

name <strong>of</strong> <strong>CIDCO</strong> Ltd. drawn on Nationalized / Scheduled Bank payable in<br />

Mumbai / Navi Mumbai only.<br />

Those tenderers who are eligible to quote this tender on <strong>the</strong> basis <strong>of</strong> <strong>CIDCO</strong>’s<br />

registration <strong>of</strong> appropriate class as required to quote for this tender and<br />

having EMD Exemption certificate shall be required to pay <strong>the</strong> differential<br />

EMD amount in <strong>the</strong> form <strong>of</strong> Bank Guarantee/ Demand draft in <strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>CIDCO</strong> Ltd drawn on Nationalized / Scheduled Bank payable in Mumbai /<br />

Navi Mumbai only. Differential EMD means EMD required to be deposited<br />

as per Tender Notice minus <strong>the</strong> amount deposited with <strong>CIDCO</strong> for availing<br />

<strong>the</strong> facility <strong>of</strong> EMD Exemption.<br />

7) No interest is payable to tenderer on <strong>the</strong> EMD amount paid alongwith this<br />

tender.<br />

8) Tender Price Money will be accepted by Demand Draft only, drawn in favour<br />

<strong>of</strong> “<strong>CIDCO</strong> Ltd.” payable at Navi Mumbai and copy <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> receipt shall be<br />

uploaded before purchase <strong>of</strong> tender document.<br />
