TENDER NOTICE
CIDCO of Maharashtra Limited through the process of e-tendering invites
“On-line” item rate percentage tenders from the experienced and eligible
prospective bidders, registered with CIDCO Ltd., Maharashtra State PWD,
CPWD, MJP, MIDC, MCGM who have completed work of similar type and
nature for the work mentioned below :

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1) Experience of having successfully completed similar type & nature of works
during last 5 (Five) years ending last day of the month previous to the one in
which applications are invited (as per Format – A)
a) One completed work of reclamation having value Rs. 245.0 lacs or more
and one completed work of reinforced concrete channel/ drain/ culvert /
Bridge /marine structure having value more than Rs. 435.0 lacs or more.
OR
b) Two completed works of reclamation having value Rs. 196.0 lacs or more
and two completed works of reinforced concrete channel/ drain/ culvert/
Bridge /marine structure having value more than Rs. 348.0 lacs or more.
OR
c) Three completed works of reclamation having value Rs. 147.0 lacs or more
and three completed works of reinforced concrete channel/ drain/ culvert
/Bridge /marine structure having value more than Rs. 260.0 lacs or more.
2) Works of “Similar type and nature” shall mean :
A project comprising of reclamation and RCC channel / drain / culvert / Bridge
/marine structure both in individual contract or combined contract shall be
considered as work of similar type and nature. In case of contracts of integrated
type comprising of works of above type and nature having value fulfilling
eligibility criteria; the bifurcation of each type shall be submitted in Format
“A” along with documentary evidence.

3) Annual Turnover : The average annual turnover from construction works of
last three financial years should be greater than Rs.6.80 Crores (as per Format
– B)
4) Bid Capacity Criteria:
The Prospective Bidder will be qualified only if their available bid capacity is
more than the Estimated Cost of the work as per notice inviting Tender. The
available bid capacity will be calculated based on the following formula:
Available Bid capacity = (2 x A x N) - B
A= Average Annual Turn Over for last Three Financial Years.
N= No. of years prescribed for Completion of this work.
B= Balance value of works in hand prior to one month of date of submission of
tender for this work.
5) The value of all financial figures (criteria no.1, 3 & 4) shall be brought to
current pricing level by CIDCO by enhancing the actual value at simple rate of
7.0% per annum.
6) Joint Venture/ Consortium are not permitted.
7) The applicant must submit the proof of RMC plant owned by him in Navi
Mumbai on within 25 Kms. by road, otherwise he will be required to submit
an undertaking to supply the RMC from CIDCO approved suppliers.
NOTES:
1) The Pre-qualification On-Line submission shall be accompanied by attested
copies of Registration Certificate, valid Bank Solvency Certificate, Sales Tax
Certificate (MVAT), Income Tax Permanent Account No., list of works in
Hand (as per Format – C), list of Plant, Machinery and Equipments (as per
Format – D), Organization Chart for present work (as per Format - E), details
of Office Organization (as per Format – F).
The applicant should also produce original documents for verification if
called for. Failure to attach necessary documents with application will render
applicant ineligible for purchase / download of blank tender without any
intimation.
2) Tender documents shall neither be sent nor received by Post/Courier.
3) Right to issue tender documents is reserved with CIDCO. CIDCO reserves
right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason and the same
shall be at the entire discretion of CIDCO. CIDCO’s decision in this respect
shall be final and binding.
4) Conditional tenders shall be summarily rejected.

5) The offer shall remain valid for a period of One Hundred Twenty (120) days
from the date of submission of tender.
6) EMD shall be submitted in the form of Bank Guarantee/ Demand draft in the
name of CIDCO Ltd. drawn on Nationalized / Scheduled Bank payable in
Mumbai / Navi Mumbai only.
Those tenderers who are eligible to quote this tender on the basis of CIDCO’s
registration of appropriate class as required to quote for this tender and
having EMD Exemption certificate shall be required to pay the differential
EMD amount in the form of Bank Guarantee/ Demand draft in the name of
CIDCO Ltd drawn on Nationalized / Scheduled Bank payable in Mumbai /
Navi Mumbai only. Differential EMD means EMD required to be deposited
as per Tender Notice minus the amount deposited with CIDCO for availing
the facility of EMD Exemption.
7) No interest is payable to tenderer on the EMD amount paid alongwith this
tender.
8) Tender Price Money will be accepted by Demand Draft only, drawn in favour
of “CIDCO Ltd.” payable at Navi Mumbai and copy of the receipt shall be
uploaded before purchase of tender document.
