Designed for university or college graduates, <strong>this</strong> program<br />
provides graduates with functional knowledge in core areas<br />
of human resources: recruitment and selection, training and<br />
development, human resources planning, occupational health and<br />
safety, organizational behaviour, finance and accounting, human<br />
resources management, compensation and benefits, and labour<br />
relations. students have the opportunity to complete all nine<br />

trade. students work with real businesses, helping small<br />

economy. Professors have relevant and practical expertise in<br />
international trade, investment, marketing, finance, and business<br />
management. Graduates will receive an Ontario college<br />
Graduate certificate in international Business Management<br />
and, upon meeting Fitt criteria on two major projects sent<br />
for external grading, a Diploma in international trade from the<br />

London. the Developmental services Worker (Fast track)<br />
program prepares its graduates to be specialists in supporting<br />
children and adults with developmental disabilities. For example,<br />
DsW’s provide support for people with intellectual and physical<br />
disabilities and autism. the DsW program includes areas of<br />
study such as disability, mental health, interpersonal skills,<br />
counseling, health, pharmacology, and teaching and intervention<br />
strategies. Field placements in community agencies and/or<br />
schools are part of the curriculum. the Developmental services<br />
Worker (Fast track) program provides an opportunity for college<br />
graduates (human services) and university graduates (social<br />

<strong>–</strong> a 19-week Ontario college Graduate certificate program,<br />
where graduates are engaged in activities in the area of<br />
emergency and disaster management. the program reflects the<br />
work that emergency managers must be able to perform on a<br />
regular basis within the framework of appropriate emergency<br />
management legislation. students will be equipped with the<br />
necessary skills to address key areas of emergency management<br />
from disaster preparedness, coordination and management<br />
of emergency events escalating to catastrophes, hazards, risk<br />
assessment, terrorism, mitigation/prevention, preparedness,<br />
response and recovery. <strong>this</strong> program is delivered in a blended<br />
in-class/online delivery format for students who can commit<br />
one day per week in-class and who are also self-motivated<br />
to complete the extensive online learning that is required.<br />

and public sectors. Positions are likely to be found in larger<br />
companies and municipalities, with duties relating to emergency<br />
management planning and liaising with community partners.
MAgnETic rEsOnAncE iMAging<br />
<strong>–</strong> a one-year Ontario college Graduate certificate program<br />
designed for the practicing Medical radiation technologist<br />
in the Nuclear Medicine radiography or radiation therapy<br />
discipline who wishes to expand their career to include Magnetic<br />
resonance imaging (Mri). Graduates of <strong>this</strong> program will be<br />
prepared to write the Mri National certification examinations<br />
as set by the canadian Association of Medical radiation<br />
technologists (cAMrt). A Magnetic resonance imaging<br />
technologist is a valuable member of the health care team who<br />
uses non-invasive magnetic fields and radiofrequency pulses to<br />
produce high quality images to aid in the diagnoses of disease<br />
and injury. After a two semester didactic delivery, the student<br />
will commence a 16-week clinical practicum at an affiliated<br />
hospital site. the clinical practicum will then be concluded with<br />
a two-week intensive consolidation and review on-campus, to<br />
prepare the student for their certification exams. While the<br />
contact hours will be compressed in <strong>this</strong> fashion, the student<br />
will be expected to commit to rigorous independent study, with<br />
assigned readings, collaborative group work, online discussions<br />
and assignment submissions comprising a significant component<br />

opportunity for students to specialize in an artisanal culinary<br />
field; develop a more profound respect for food; and explore<br />
the concept of food sovereignty with a sustainable model of<br />
agriculture in contrast to canada’s current industrial system<br />
of food production. <strong>this</strong> program will create chefs that have<br />
demonstrated a competence in traditional food preparation<br />
such as preserving, artisanal baking, and butchery. students will<br />
acquire an expertise in the use of local/sustainable products<br />
to create advanced dishes, menus, and recipes. A theme<br />
throughout the program is to promote chefs who appreciate<br />
the origins of food, in addition to the hard work and processing<br />

designed to provide students with specialized skills and<br />
knowledge required to enter the rapidly growing entertainment,<br />
educational, training and simulation software development<br />
industries. students will get an in-depth study of what game<br />
programmers do as part of larger project technical teams:<br />
graphics effects, animation systems, artificial intelligence,<br />
physical modelling, sound, and scripting systems. students<br />
will learn how to create, configure, and integrate custom game<br />
components. Other aspects of gaming like game models,<br />
simulation, performance and configuration of both single player<br />
