This course requirement is effective two (2) years from the effective date of this regulation and will supersede<br />
revious requirement for promotion to CW4.<br />
Note 1. This is the minimum military education requirements for promotion to CW3 for all MOS specialties. As an<br />
exceDtion. for those specialties which d ohave courses for either SWOT or.WOAC, the minimum requirements<br />
for promotion to CW3 is the completion of WOlTC or WOBC and the common core prerequisite studies adminis-<br />
tered by the WOCC.<br />
Note 2. Effective with implementation of this regulation, the minimum military education requirements for promo-<br />
tion of warrant officers to the grade of CW4 who have not completed a WOAC or SWOT due to lack of such murses<br />
in their MOS is the completion of WOTTC or WOBC and the Warrant Officer Staff Course (WOSC).<br />
7-10. Physician Assistant (PA) warrant officer<br />
educational requirements for promotion<br />
PA's must successfully complete the AMEDD Officer<br />
Advanced Course or AMEDD Reserve Component Of-<br />
ficer Advanced Course for promotion to CW3. The PA<br />
military education requirements for promotion to CW4<br />
are as stated bove.<br />
7-11. Promotion of ARNG warrant officers<br />
serving on Title 10 AGR Tours<br />
a. Upon determining that a warrant officer serving<br />
on Title 10 AGR tour managed by NGB is eligible for<br />
promotion, a Memorandum prepared by the first line<br />
supervisor IAW Figure 7-1 herein, will be forwarded to<br />
Chief, Tours Management Office, A m: NGB-ARP-T,<br />
11 1 So. George Mason Dr., Arlington, VA 22204-1382.<br />
Memorandum will include as Enclosures documents<br />
required as shown in Appendix B.<br />
b. The Title 10 AGR Tour Management Office will<br />
review the request and if determined to be valid will<br />

forward correspondence to the warrant officer's parent<br />
State recommending promotion action to the next<br />
higher grade. Tour Management Office will grant an<br />
additional TDA allocation comensurate to the recom-<br />
mended grade, and withdraw the current grade. If the<br />
State mncurs with the requested action and the officer<br />
is determined qualified for promotion by a Federal<br />
Recognition Board, the State will publish orders citing<br />
this regulation as the promotion authority.<br />
c. If the State does not desire to promote the war-<br />
rant officer, the NGB Tour Management Office, will be<br />
notified in writing and the promotion action terminated<br />
upon notification of the soldier.
