Motor Control Starter Kit<br />

The MC-LVKIT is a comprehensive and easy-to-use starter<br />

kit designed to support NEC’s range of 8 and 32 bit motor<br />

control specific microcontrollers. It is also capable of being<br />

connected to NEC Electronics’ software development tools<br />

for evaluation and debugging purposes.<br />

The low-voltage inverter module can be used for low voltage<br />

motor applications that require drive capability for motors up<br />

to 24V. And also for evaluating 3-phase asynchronous or<br />

synchronous motor control applications.<br />

The STM32F10xxx incorporates the high-performance ARM Cortex-M3 32-bit RISC core, high-speed embedded memories, and an extensive<br />

range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals connected to two APB buses.<br />

These devices offer standard communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, USART), general purpose 16-bit timers and 16-bit<br />

ADCs. The STM32F103 performance line also includes USB, CAN and a PWM timer.<br />

With a 2.0 to 3.6 V power supply, the STM32F101 access line family operates in the -40 to +85°C temperature range,<br />

and the STM32F103xx performance line family operates in the -40 to +105 °C temperature range. A comprehensive set<br />

of power-saving modes allow to design low-power applications.<br />

The C505CA provides full CAN version 2.0B integrated On-Chip with high performance, optimized Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC)<br />

behavior and fast communication between decentralized sensors, actuators and the host. The device provides 32 KByte of OTP or 16/32<br />

KByte of ROM, 256 Byte of RAM, 1 KByte of XRAM, Controller Area Network (CAN) Version 2.0B, an asynchronous/synchronous serial<br />

interface and highly accurate 10-bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) integrated on chip. With an external clock rate of 20 MHz, the C505CA<br />

has an instruction time of 300 ns. Typical applications for the C505CA are automotive body and industrial control.<br />
