Thankyou for your expression of interest, and welcome to the Brighton Hotel,<br />

Mandurah.<br />

Capture the views of Mandurah’s waterfront, overlooking Manjar Bay, while you<br />

enjoy our great menu or icy cold beer. The Brighton is situated in the centre of<br />

the city’s ‘Entertainment Hub’, in close proximity to a great district of local shops,<br />

café’s, and nightclub’s.<br />

If it’s a celebration your after, read on, the hotel provides a great selection of<br />

function options, all laid out in this package. This is designed to give you all the<br />

necessary information you need to hold a function in our venue. If you have any<br />

questions, about a function or any other event, don’t hesitate to give us a call<br />

and any of the friendly management team can assist you.<br />

In order for events to run smoothly, we recommend that you come down and<br />

visit the venue, to ensure appropriateness of the room for your event. This also<br />

gives us the option to recommend any other areas that may be more suitable<br />

for the size or occasion of your event.<br />

A member of our Management Team will be on hand, to ensure your event goes<br />

to plan, and assist with anything additional you may require.<br />

The Terrace Bar<br />

Located above the restaurant and overlooking Mandurah Terrace , The Terrace<br />

Bar has its own private facilities (including Bar, Kitchenette, and Amenities) and is<br />

ideal to hold a function of any occasion. This area also boasts exceptional views<br />

of Manjar Bay from its balcony.<br />

The Terrace Bar is our dedicated function area, and is popular for a variety of<br />

functions/events (up to 150 standing pax) such as;<br />

• Birthday Party’s (excluding 18 th)<br />

• Sundowners<br />

• Anniversaries<br />

• Engagements<br />

• Any other casual occasion<br />

If you’re not sure if the room is suitable for your function, feel free to come in and<br />

inspect the room for yourself.<br />

Room Hire<br />

<strong>FUNCTION</strong> <strong>PACKAGE</strong><br />

The Terrace Bar is Mandurah’s first choice for a party, get together or social club<br />

function. The room hire is just $200.00 for your event, with no time limit. This will<br />

cover you for, but is not limited to;<br />

• Bar and/or Wait Staff<br />

• General cleaning cost’s<br />

• In House Music and/or AV<br />

• In House Furniture setting and/or arrangement<br />

• Table Linen<br />

• Cake Requirements (cutlery, napkins and knife)<br />

It gets better, if your function is held during the week (Monday to Thursday), the<br />

Room Hire is FREE (exc. Corporate).<br />

Cakes<br />

The Brighton Hotel has access to a great selection of cake options available,<br />

ideal for birthdays or anniversaries etc. Ask us for more details and how to order.<br />

Music / Audio Visual<br />

The Brighton Hotel has access to a great selection of options for your music/AV<br />

requirements. This includes, but is not limited to;<br />

• iPod connectivity<br />

• Laptop Connectivity<br />

• TV/DVD<br />

• House Music<br />

We can also supply your entertainment for the night too. Rates are per hour, we<br />

will also supply your very own DJ. Ask us for more details.

requirements.<br />

The Brighton Hotel is trading under an accredited food safety program. In the<br />

interest of patron safety, all food must be consumed on premise. Please ensure<br />

you talk to us about your food quantities, we have only your best interest in mind<br />

when recommending how much/little food to order for your function.<br />

Food serving times finish at 9.00pm. Special arrangements may be possible upon<br />

The Brighton Hotel can cater for your next Corporate Function. The Terrace Bar<br />

can seat up to 40 (Classroom style), 25 (U-Shape), or 60+ standing only.<br />

Room Hire for these functions is only $100.00 which covers, but is not limited to;<br />

• Bar and/or Wait Staff<br />

• General cleaning cost’s<br />

• In House Music and/or AV<br />

o Data Projector<br />

o iPod Connectivity<br />

• In House Furniture setting and/or arrangement<br />

• Table Linen<br />

• Tea & Coffee Station (Corporate Events only)<br />

Terms & Conditions<br />

<strong>FUNCTION</strong> <strong>PACKAGE</strong><br />

Office of Racing, Gaming & Liquor and Brighton Hotel House Management Policy<br />

1.1 Only beverages purchased on the premises may be consumed on these premises. Like all Venues we are licenced which means<br />

only beverages purchased at the premises may be consumed here. Beverages may not be bought on to the premises.<br />

1.2 If its your special occasion, We hope your guest spoil you, however Any alcoholic gifts bought into the Brighton Hotel should be<br />

wrapped and placed with the Manager on Duty, which can be retrieved at the end of your function.<br />

1.3 Food can not be brought on site without the prior consent of the Venue Manager.<br />

1.4 In order to comply with our in house Responsible Service of Alcohol standards, it is a requirement that a minimum order of 4 food<br />

platters or $250 minimum food purchase with any function booked in the venue<br />

1.5 The Brighton Hotel and its staff are responsible servers of alcohol. If, in the opinion of the venue, you or any of your guests are<br />

deemed to be intoxicated, argumentative and/or aggressive, they can be refused service and/or asked to leave the venue<br />

immediately.<br />

1.6 All persons attending the venue must be able to provide adequate identification or proof of age on request at any time. A current<br />

passport, proof of age card or Australian drivers licence is the only acceptable form of identification in Western Australia.<br />

1.7 Minors are permitted to attend all functions at the Brighton Hotel, however, any minor attending must arrive with, remain in the<br />

company at all times and depart with a responsible adult.<br />

1.8 The Brighton Hotel has conditions in our tavern licence that prohibits anyone to be immodestly or indecently dressed, take part in,<br />

undertake or perform any activity or entertainment on licensed premises that is of a lewd or indecent manner. This includes ‘R’ rated<br />

moving pictures, contractors, employees or any patrons.<br />

Deposit and Payment Policy<br />

2.1 Confirmation of your booking will be deemed complete upon the return of a signed copy of these Terms & Conditions along with a<br />

valid credit card number. On condition a valid credit card number can not be supplied, The Brighton Hotel requires full payment of<br />

Food catering. (Please note, The room will not be considered booked until all information is returned with a signed agreement and<br />

Credit card details, along with payment of the Room Hire, if applicable)<br />

2.2 A deposit of the Room Hire fee is required upon receipt of the Confirmation of Details and Terms & Conditions. Payment in full is<br />

required 1 week (7 days) prior to the commencement of the function. Cash and all credit cards are accepted. Unfortunately we<br />

do not accept cheques or direct debit.<br />

2.3 You, the undersigned, will be deemed responsible and held liable for the costs of repairs for any damage caused by yourself or your<br />

guests during the function.<br />

Cancellation Policy<br />

3.1 More than two (2) weeks prior to date of function – No cancellation fee.<br />

3.2 Less than two (2) weeks prior to date of function – Forfeit of deposit paid.<br />

3.3 All food menus and drink requirements must be confirmed at least seven (14) days prior to the event.<br />

3.4 For Set Menus, final numbers are required seven (7) days before the event. This is the number you will be charged for on the event.<br />

Smoking Policy<br />

4.1 Our function room (Terrace Bar) has a smoking area available. Please confirm those areas at the time of your booking.<br />

4.2 There is a designated non-smoking area to the front of the building surrounding the Brighton Hotel’s restaurant areas.<br />

Best Service Policy<br />

5.1 The Brighton Hotel will endeavour to provide your required services, contingent on being able to do so. The Brighton Hotel will not<br />

accept any liability in the case of business interruption, including, not but limited to, labour disputes, major mechanical failure or any<br />

other circumstances that may inhibit the trading capacity of the venue.<br />

5.2 The Brighton Hotel will endeavour to ensure any personal property bought into the function remain as safe as possible, The Brighton<br />

Hotel will not accept responsibility as a result any loss or damage which may occur to any personal equipment or gifts during or after<br />

your function.<br />

Credit Card Policy<br />

6.1 The Brighton Hotel will obtain Credit Card details as purpose of security only. No initial purchases will be credited to this card unless<br />

authorised to do so (by the card holder ONLY).<br />

6.2 In the event that there is an outstanding bill, at completion of your function and we are unable to contact you, the remaining<br />

amount will be charged to the card within 48 hours.
