OHL Industrial is structured into four areas: Oil & Gas, power, solids handling,
and re protection systems. It has opened permanent ofces in the United
States, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Chile and United Arab Emirates
(Abu Dhabi).
In the process of expansion, its main contracts
are:
• NGL fractionation plant in Pisco (Peru) capacity expansion by 35,000
barrels/day.
• Storage and distribution of hydrocarbons terminal in Algeciras Port
(Spain) with capacity of 400,000 cbm.
• 50 MW Thermosolar plant Arenales in Seville (Spain).
• 50 MW Biomass Plant in Huelva (Spain).
• Overland conveyor 3.7 Km for limestone in Hidalgo (Mexico).
• Crusher plant for copper mineral (Chile).
• Overland conveyor 5.2 Km (Peru).

Developments
OHL Developments integrates the Group’s
actions in the development, promotion and
management of resorts and leisure centers
at the highest level.
The division has planned and designed a
world class coastal tourist development of
the highest quality, Mayakoba, located in
the Riviera Maya. This complex will include
ve luxury hotels, of which three (Fairmont,
Rosewood and Banyan Tree) are already
in operation. It features a golf course, El
Camaleón (The Chameleon), which has made
history by becoming the rst host of the PGA
Tour event held outside the United States or
Canada.
OHLD has started working on the Canalejas
Center project in Madrid, which entails major
urban revitalization work in an emblematic
area. The project includes establishing
the rst hotel of the North American Four
Seasons group in Spain, which is probably the
most prestigious hotel brand in the world,
creating the best retail space in Madrid,
with “Premium” quality, a top-level housing
complex and parking.

RDI
This is one of the Group’s basic principles
through its contribution to increased
productivity and competitiveness.
OHL participates in the most important industry
initiatives to promote R&D&I. It is a member of the
Spanish Construction Technology Platforms (PTEC)
and European Construction Technology Platforms
(ECTP). It also chairs the EurekaBuild2 pan-European
network and is a member of the European Network of
Construction Companies for Research and Development
(ENCORD).
Milestones:
• Cubipod. Building component for the main layer
of breakwaters, it has an international patent and
performs better than the traditional cube. In 2012 it
was implemented in two works: Malaga Port and Punta
Langosteira Port. (A Coruña).
• FOTSIS. Led by OHL Concessions, this is a landmark
project of the EU’s Seventh R&D Framework Program
(FP7) in highway safety and mobility. It completed its
rst year of implementation with a rating of “Excellent”
from the European Commission.
• 2012 EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard
of the European Commission ranks OHL 3rd among
Spanish construction companies and 15th among the
European ones.
