FAMILY MUSIC TIME
All children are musical from the day they are born! They love to sing, move, dance, and bang out rhythms on tables, floors, pots
NEW!
and pans. In this class, we will explore music through songs, rhymes, rhythmic chants, movement, and dance. Each week we
will play and sing a core of familiar songs, while also introducing a few new ones. We will also take some time to explore different
musical instruments, both rhythmic and melodic. Caregivers are encouraged to sing and move along with their children so that you
FAMILY PLANNING | Special Needs
We will discuss the process of formulating a plan for an individual with a disability that includes discussions regarding
anticipated legal, financial and care essentials for the future. To make a proper plan, such things should be covered such
as understanding of the nature of the disability, potential private resources for that individual, and government benefits
that may be available. Also extremely important, is an understanding of the individual’s personal life circumstances
such as abilities and limitations, personal goals/desires, relationships with family and friends, available network of
support and possible needs throughout that individual’s lifetime. The purpose of planning is to assist an individual with
a disability and/or the loved ones to maintain eligibility for all available public benefits while also using private resources to
enhance the quality of life of that individual during his or her life time.
young woman, and Bet, Nancy's best friend. When Oliver goes on his first pick-pocketing job, he is caught
by the police. The man that Oliver thieved, Mr. Brownlow, learns of Oliver's sad past and brings him into his own
home. Meanwhile, Nancy's husband (the villainous Bill Sikes) worries that Oliver will tell Mr. Brownlow and the
police where the thieves live. He forces Nancy and Bet to snatch Oliver from Mr. Brownlow's house and take him
back to Fagin's. Nancy does everything her husband tells her to but plans on secretly taking Oliver back to Mr. Brownlow.
Before she can do so, Bill finds out of his wife's plans, and murders her. He then goes after Oliver, but is shot and killed.
