EUROPEAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES & ART

INTRODUCTION

In 2010 we celebrated our 20 th Anniversary. In a special Festschrift our work could demonstrate

its position within our society. The academy is working in different levels, locally,

nationally and on a European level with our Health project and connecting all the

Presidents of the Academy’s of Eastern Europe. In 2010 many meetings could be organized.

A special new cooperation has been started in a Joint-program with the Russian

Academy of Sciences. At present we have over 1400 members in and outside of Europe.

Our work is assisted by our eleven institutes and 27 delegations. Endeavour has been

started in 2010 with the foundation of the “Alma Mater Europaea”, a European University
