In 1981, deep in the
wilderness of the
Northwest Canadian
Territories, Exped
founders Andi and
Heidi Brun lived for 9
months using simple
tools and food gathered
from Nature. Nothing
impressed them
more than the serene
movements of the wild
geese flying over head.
Who in the world is Exped?
Exped means Expedition Equipment.
Since 1997, the Exped Team has
designed and built the highest quality,
specialized gear for the active, outdoor
enthusiast. Such equipment is designed
to appeal to everyone from the casual
hiker of the Appalachian Trail to the
technical climber in the Himalayas.
