Brian advised that he believes it was the last day of school for the y€ffi, that he recalls "f"*f' that morning that his mother and sister had made breakfast for his brother and he. Bnan advised that his sister, Gracie did not go to school as she was too young and stayed at home with his mother. Brian recalls that when he and his brother had arrived home from school, that no one was there; Bnan advised that it was not all that unusual, as his father was an air traffic controller and had worked weird hours, and that his mother would sometimes not be home nght when he arrived there . Bnan advised that when hrs father, nor mother and sister were not home when he returned from school it was no big deal. Bnan advised that he recalls that his dad amved home about 4:00 or 5:00 that iast day of school, at about dinner time. He (Michael Reapp) had told Patnck and he that "... they (Grace and Gracie) went on a vacation for a little while; they had to get away..." Bnan Reapp advised that he has always thought it as odd that hrs mother (Grace Reapp) would wait until the last day of school to leave. Bnan Reapp further advised that a woman named Donna Roussin moved into their house, as a housekeeper, soon after the disappearance of his mother and sister (Grace and Gracie). Brian Reapp advised that he recalled that Donna Roussin had moved in real soon, possibly within a week. Bnan Reapp advised that this is the woman who his father (Michael Reapp) eventually mamed. Bnan Reapp advised that he, his father, nor his brother (Patrick) ever talked about Grace or Gracie leaving. Bnan Reapp advised that he had not heard from his mother, or sister, since that last day of school, in 1 97 8. c. Juiiana Woodworth, Grace's sister, advised that the iast contact which a famiiy rnember has had with Grace and Gracie Reapp was the trme around Memorial Day weekend, 1 978. Juliana Woodworth advised that their mother, Filamena Byron had been to Grace's Jericho home for a visit at that time, and had seen the Reapp family, including Grace and Gracie. Juliana Woodworth advised that she and her mother iive in Connecticut. and are Grace's famiiv. Juliana Woodworth advised this officer that neither she, nor her mother, has heard from Grace Reapp or her daughter Gracie Reapp since then.
F*' il p i! d. Mrs. Judy Thibault, who was irutially contacted by then Det. Cpl. Howard McMaster in July L978 regarding this disappearance, was identified as a close frrend to Grace Reapp, and a frequent visitor to the Jericho residence. Mrs. Thibault had subsequently been contacted by then Det. Sgt. William Northrup, and this officer throughout the continued investigation into this case. Mrs. Thibault advised that the Saturday before Grace and Gracie Reapp disappeared (June 3rd, 1978) she was at the Reapp residence, in Jericho, VT. Mrs. Thibauit advised that during tlus visit she saw that Michael Reapp was doing some digging in the back yard area, behrnd the residence. Mrs. Thibault recalled that the hole which Michaei Reapp was digging was substantial, and she had asked him at the time "...if he was digging a grave." Mrs. Reapp advised that Michael Reapp responded no, that he was doing some landscaping. Mrs. Thibault advised that she visited with Grace, and that she was acting "...peculiar. weird, strange, it was not just like her." Mrs. Thibault further described Grace Reapp as acting like "a zombie" during their visit, like their was no life in her. Mrs. Thibault advised that she also recalled that the boys (Brian and Pabrck Reapp) were out back with their father, Michael that they weren't even talking. Mrs. Thibault advised thatthrs was the last time she had seen, or spoken to Grace Reapp. Mrs. Thibault advised that she called the Reapp residence on Monday night (June 5th, 1978) to speak with Grace Reapp. Mrs. Thibault advised that Michael Reapp answered the telephone and advised that Grace had gone out shopping with some girls. Mrs. Thibault advised that she had left a rnessase with Michael, to tell her (Grace) of the teiephone call. Mrs. Thibault advised that she called a few of Grace Reapp's friends, and nobody had seen Grace Reapp. Mrs. Thibault advised that she called the Reapp residence again on Wednesday night (June 7th, 1978) and Michael Reapp again answered the telephone. Mrs. Thibault advised that she was toid by Michael that Grace yas gone out visiting. Mrs. Thibault advised that she had sensed something was wrong at the Reapp residence, and that she called Syivia (Syivia Phillips Gnall) to keep calling there, to contact Grace. Mrs. Thibault advised that at that trme she was headed for Connecticut. and could. not make the continued calls herself.
