Mrs. Thibault advised that when Grace Reapp's mother would come to VT for a visit, Michael Reapp was pushed aside. Mrs. Thibault advised that little Gracie Reapp had no respect for her father, Michael. Mrs. Thibault offered examples of some interaction she had seen, such as Gracie, who was then 5 years oid, and not in school, telling her father (Michael) I hate you, or daddy, you're stupid, or I'm telling on you. Mrs. Thibault advised that Gracie's behavior was "irritating". Mrs. Thibault advised that after a few years had passed since the disappearance of Grace and Gracie, she had done some checking, ffid found out some things, like Michael Reapp had an affair before Grace had disappeared, and that this girl had an abortion. Other thrngs discovered were a picture of Michael Reapp during the air traffic controiler's strike. Mrs. Thibault advised that thrs showed a violent, angry Michael Reapp, one she didn't know of. Mrs. Thibault advised that some time prior to Grace and Gracie disappearing that Grace and Michael were having marital probiems and that Grace Reapp had left Michael for a night. Mrs. Thibault advised that when Grace had left Michaei, that she (Grace) had gone to the Econo-lodge, So. Burlington and that Grace had called Sylvia Phillips Gnall and herself (Thibault) to be with her, for support and to talk. Mrs. Thibault advised that Grace Reapp was not involved with any other man; that she was trying to save her marriage. Mrs. Thibault advised that other thanher calls to the Reapp residence dunng her attempts to speak with Grace back in June, I97B that Michael had never called her, inquiring if she knew where Grace could have been. e. This officer learned that on 718178 then Cpl. McMaster called Mrs. Syivia Phillips regarding Grace Reapp's disappearance. Ms. Phillips advised at that time that Michael Reapp was a quiet person, and had not known hlm to be violent. Ms. Phillips advised that Grace Reapp's mother was very domineering, who had control over her (Grace). Ms. Phillips advised that Michael had ieft Grace Reapp bnefly in the fail of 1977. Ms. Phiilips advised that Grace's mother was up with Grace during that time. Mrs. Phillips advised that she last spoke with Grace Reapp on Saturday June 3rd, 1978.

Mrs. Gnall advised that she also recalls that Michael and Grace were doing some type of iandscaping around the house. f. This officer and then Det. Sgt. Timothy Chagnon had met with Michael Reapp on 09-23-19g6, and obtained u r*o.o, taped statement from him regarding Grace and Graciet s disaPPearance. Michael Reapp advised us that he had called Judy Thibault, who was Grace's best friend, a day or so after Grace and Gracie had disappeared. Michael Reapp also advised that Judy Thibault had told him that she (Thibault) had seen Grace in Dovrntown Burlington, with a guy in a car. Michael Reapp advised that Judy Thibault had told him that she did not recognize this man. Michael Reapp fuither advised that he's assumed that his son, Bnan Reapp, has seen them (Grace and Gracie), although he had never asked Brian point bla'nk if he (Brian) had acrually seen than. Michael Reapp also advised us that he had calied Grace's mother, Filomena Byron, in Connecticut, when Grace first left, to see if Grace was there; Michael Reapp advised that Fiiomena Byron advised him that Grace was not there, although he (Michael) never did believe that. g. Record checks on Grace Reapp through the U.S. State Deparrment, and the Social S..unry Administration have failed to show any activity on her.
