1. CONCEPT

Establishing a shared understanding of the design

brief, and deliverables with the client, guides the

design concept.

2. DEVELOPMENT

A series of concepts are developed and discussed

with the client. A Concept Layout consolidates the

ideas and guides the Refinement process.

3. REFINEMENT

The layout is refined with a focus on the design

detailing. A Final Layout is delivered to the Client for

approval.

4. PRODUCTION

izennah.com packages the final document and

coordinates production, before delivering to the

1.1 SALTWATER COAST POINT COOK | DESIGN GUIDELINES

FKP | 2009

HANSEN PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD

The Saltwater Coast Point Cook Design Guidelines were

designed to reflect existing corporate branding guidelines. The

objective of this project was to develop a comprehensive set of

guidelines, with a fresh, coastal aesthetic.

Working closely with FKP and the Urban Design team, a series

of illustrative graphics and photo montages were developed to

enhance the written guidelines.

Accuracy, currency and clarity of information were critical

considerations. Content and imagery were carefully developed

to achieve these objectives. The finished artwork was packaged

for a professional printed output.

VICURBAN | 2009

HANSEN PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD

Hansen was engaged by VicUrban to prepare design guidelines

for VicUrban’s new Narre Warren North residential development.

The guidelines were prepared to assist prospective home

purchasers and/or builders in designing their new homes.

The guidelines comprised several sections, providing building

design objectives and controls, and were designed to reflect

existing VicUrban branding, and the envisioned aesthetic of

Narre Warren North.

The layout is fresh, and contemporary, utilising bold graphics

and a logical structure to ensure the objectives are conveyed

with clarity and impact.

The finished artwork was packaged for a professional printed

output.

1.3 SPRING CREEK | URBAN GROWTH FRAMEWORK PLAN

SURF COAST SHIRE | 2008

HANSEN PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD

The Spring Creek Urban Growth Framework Plan was am

extensive collaboration lead by Hansen Partnership.

The report was creatively directed and delivered by Izennah,

and designed in compliance with Surf Coast Shire’s corporate

branding guidelines. The bright, fresh aesthetic of the

Framework Plan was influenced by the coastal region.

Working closely with the Urban Planning and Landscape

Architecture teams, professional photographs were selected and

appropriately referenced, to enhance the Report and support the

written objectives.

Accuracy, and clarity of information were achieved through

careful consideration of document structure, page layout, and

typography. The finished artwork was packaged for both digital

and printed output.

HANSEN PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD

The ‘definition of areas of special character’ project was

commissioned to assist the City of Booroondara in the

identification of areas of prized residential character, as part of

the My Neighbourhood Strategy.

Utilising GIS Data, a series of graphic layouts were developed.

Izennah worked closely with the Planning team to consolidate

the research process and illustrate the recommendations.

From a graphic design standpoint the objectives of this project

were to achieve a consistent style that enabled complex data to

be conveyed with clarity and accuracy. Both high quality printed

and digital outputs were delivered.

HANSEN PARTNERSHIP PTY LTD

As the Graphics Manager for Hansen Partnership Izennah

is responsible for overseeing all internal Graphic Design

requirements, Marketing and Advertising.

From standardising and managing Hansen Partnership’s

Branding (see 3.3 Style Guide), Business Forms, Stationery,

Marketing Collateral (see right, Capability Statement), Staff CV’s,

to coordinating advertising across a range of media including

Print, Email, various industry Publications and Websites.

Izennah takes pride in ensuring that each component captures

the standard of excellence and unique aesthetic that defines

Hansen within the development and design industries.

As Hansen has an office in Vietnam, and is involved extensively

in projects across South East Asia, Izennah has overseen the

translation of Marketing Collateral and the Hansen Website into

Vietnamese, liaising with Hansen’s Vietnam based translator.

Izennah also coordinates the design and production of several

annual industry award submissions., two of which have won

State and National divisions.

The Extractive Industry Association (EIA) of the Northern Territory

is an industry body representing those who extract and process

the sand, gravel and crushed stone products which are used

in their own right or as ingredients for the materials used in the

building of the infrastructure which supports the development of

This brochure was developed for print and digital distribution, in

line with existing branding. The layout comprises a selection of

images depicting the industry processes and products, while the

colour palette promotes the Northern Territory image.

Hansen Partnership sponsors the annual Women’s Planning

Network (WPN) 2010 Rising Star Scholarship, which provides

financial assistance for graduate or postgraduate education in

the Urban Planning industry.

Izennah designs the annual Call for Entries and the Award

Certificate, drawing upon the colour palette and fluid curves of

the WPN Logo to achieve a vibrant and feminine style.

Bluechip Marketing’s Branding conveys a fresh, modern,

professional image. A Darwin-based company, the wash

element draws upon the expansive tropical ocean and sky, a

SUPPORTING ALZHEIMER’S AUSTRALIA

Merit Partners engaged izennah.com to develop a brand identity

and range of products for their in-house fundraising group

which supports Alzheimer’s Australia. A bold colour palette,

geometric lines, and strong typography reflects the vibrant style

of existing Merit Partners branding, and an image of optimism.

The Masterbrand depicts a brain, or thought bubble, enclosing a

plant bud, representing life, growth and action.

A range of promotional items were produced including:

A personal brand was developed to reflect the client’s feminine

THE DESTINY GARDEN SCHOOL | KENYA

This event, hosted in support of the Destiny Garden School

(Kenya, Mombassa) was a personal cause for the team involved,

as a close friend is volunteering at the school.

izennah.com developed an email invitation, a range of posters

and a follow-up email reporting on the money raised. The

graphic style is relaxed, bright, and uplifting, featuring images

from the school.

This simple, integrated suite of Graphics aimed to enhance the

connection felt between the attendees and the children at the

Destiny Garden School.
