Process owner FM<br />

The leader of the art programme attends all steering committee meetings.<br />

VP GBS BSC serves as secretary for the steering committee.<br />

The steering committee reviews and provides recommendations to the line (the EVP CSO, the<br />

project asset owner, the project manager, the CSO GBS line or other Business Area line)<br />

concerning the art programme as follows:<br />

Proposed changes to the strategy, acquisition and deaccession guidelines and<br />

measurement concept<br />

Action plans<br />

Executed and planned acquisitions, procurements and deaccessions<br />

Executed and planned acquisitions and procurements in construction and extensive<br />

renovation projects<br />

Performance<br />

Lessons learned<br />

The steering committee meets quarterly.<br />

Art programme leader<br />

Prepares:<br />

The strategy, acquisition and deaccession guidelines and measurement concept<br />

Action plans<br />

Acquisitions, procurements and deaccessions<br />

Approves artwork loans to and from Statoil.<br />

The art programme leader is responsible for communication with external stakeholders.<br />

Art programme team<br />

The art programme team, which consists of two discipline advisers, is provided by GBS BSC<br />

FM BS to execute day-to-day operations.<br />

Statoil art award<br />

All matters concerning the Statoil art award are decided by the Leader of brand management,<br />

CCOM. The art programme leader and the team recommend actions and execute the art award<br />

on CCOM’s behalf.<br />

PROCUREMENT PRINCIPLES<br />

The normal principle for segregation of duties applies, although normal tender processes are<br />

generally less relevant for artwork acquisitions.<br />

Decisions on acquisitions and deaccessions are made by the CSO GBS line (CSO GBS<br />

BSC FM BS), the project asset owner or the project manager as described in “Roles and<br />

responsibilities”<br />

The art programme leader and team provide recommendations regarding procurement<br />

execution in cooperation with SCM<br />

SCM executes acquisition and deaccession decisions<br />

TRANSPARENCY<br />

The following guidelines apply:<br />

Members of the art programme team, the art programme leader, members of the steering<br />

committee and project asset owners or project managers should not privately acquire art<br />

by artists whose art has also been planned, recommended or approved for acquisition<br />

The above restrictions apply for four weeks from the date Statoil announces the<br />

acquisition on www.statoil.com.<br />

Relevant acquisitions made after the four week period must be reported and documented<br />

to the line manager and chair of the steering committee<br />

Those who personally own works by an artist must inform the chair of the steering<br />

committee before they participate in recommendations or decisions regarding that artist<br />

External art consultants must be informed about the above principles and the<br />

segregation of duty principles in writing when they are hired<br />
