STB launches ‘INSPIRE’ for Indian Incentives market
Singapore Airlines to introduce 10 daily flights from Delhi to Singapore by end of Oct 2013

Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has launched ‘In Singapore Incentives & Rewards’ (INSPIRE), an ofer to avail
specialy crafted experiences, for the Indian outbound Incentives segment, at an event in Mumbai. INSPIRE is a
partnership between STB and seven major Singapore tourism industry partners namely the Changi Airport Group,
Gardens by the Ba Bay, Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa Leisure Group, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Turf Club,
and Wildlife Reserves Singapore. Bookings for INSPIRE is now open til July 31, 2014, for travel before
December 2014. At the event, Singapore Airlines unveiled its plans to introduce ten daily flights from Delhi to
Singapore by October end this year in an atempt to increase direct connectivity from India to Singapore.
Speaking about INSPIRE, Chang Chee Pey, Executive Director, STB, said, “The Indian business segment is a fast
growing one and within the first three quarters of 2012, Singapore had seen an inflow of 607,000 Indian MICE
travelers. Incentive travel is an important way for companies to incentivise their sta staf. Discerning Indian
businesses are increasingly seeking diferentiated experiences as part of their incentive travel programme to
reward top performers and drive their business objectives. INSPIRE was thus created to appeal to this growing
segment by developing a selection of personalised programmes and exclusive oferings. Many of these
experiences, which include complimentary incentive experiences such as dinner/lunch at Flower Dome
(Gardens by the Bay) or Wildlife High Tea Encounter at Singapore Zoo, special guided tours at Singapore Turf
Club and Sentosa, exclusive usage of sought-after locations and premiere seats at popular performances, have
been made possible only with the participation of our INSPIRE partners. We are confident that the INSPIRE programme
wil entice Indian Incentive groups to head to Singapore for an enriching, memorable time through our concentration
on world-class experiences.”
The specialy designed INSPIRE itineraries centre on dining, entertainment, and atractions, activities that Indian
travelers opt for when visiting Singapore.
