"All students please rise so 1st period teachers can perform our daily dress code
check.
“Please make sure all students are covered from mid-quad to traps with no visible
flesh or undergarments in between. Also, make sure that clothing is not skin-tight
in the pec, glut, or hip flexor area.”
Please send any students in violation to the office immediately."
KUDOS To:
In May of this year, the SERS held a poster contest to celebrate their 75th
anniversary. 3 of Mrs. Helser's students are winners. Students studied poster design
and advertising to inspire their own posters featuring SERS employees of CWHS.
The winners were 2 girls from art foundations class. Marissa Brown won 3rd place
with her poster of Mrs. Jill Hummel ( high school secretary), Beth Thompson won
1st place for her mixed media design of the SERS logo. Other students were
selected to have their designs used in various publications for SERS. Hannah
Jarrell, made a poster of "Chef Sean" ( chef and cashier) . Kendra Harris made a
poster of Kathy O'Bryant (deli/sandwich server). The winning designs are currently
featured on the SERS facebook page http://www.ohsers.org/home and other
publications
o Mrs. Helser requests that these 4 students see her in room 128 (art)
immediatly after announcements today.

Seniors - Those of you, who did not turn in your plans for test day, October 17th,
need to get those plans into the guidance office by Monday, October 15th.
Voice of Democracy essays are due by the end of the student day on Tuesday,
October 23, 2012.
Sophomores interested in applying for HOBY, essays are due electronically to Mrs.
Phelps by October 30, 2012.
Just a reminder to all students interested in wrestling to see Coach Brooks for
information on wrestling season. Conditioning will begin next Monday, Oct. 15th at
3:00. Please meet at the wrestling room on time. Conditioning will run until 4:15.
Further information will be given that day. If you have any questions, see Coach
Brooks."
Picture retakes will be on Oct. 30th if you did not get your picture taken or want a
retake you can come to the office and pick up a picture form.
Alexus Johnson, Samantha Myers, and Darin Billiter needs to stop in and see Mrs.
Michaels before you leave school today.
The Homecoming Dance will be held Saturday from 8pm till 10:30 pm. This year's
theme is neon and each Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior will receive a bracelet to
"light up the night". All Seniors will receive a bracelet and a necklace. Come on out
and dance the neon night away. See you there!

order day. Don’t wait to order online later, ordering your ring in school Thursday will
save you $20.00 plus you will receive your FREE companion ring that day. Please

Attention Seniors,
If you did not pick up your graduation packet in the Jostens class meeting please
pick up one in the main office. Jostens will be here to collect cap & gown and
graduation package orders on Thursday, October 18th during the lunch periods in the
cafeteria. Please remember to bring your completed order form and either a $75.00
deposit or your full payment. This is the only scheduled in school order day so all
seniors need to turn in their order. Extra packets are available in the main office. Any
