UQ Business School Alumni Association

The UQ Business School Alumni Association represents

graduates of management, commerce and business from

undergraduate, postgraduate and research programs. The

Association aims to help alumni stay connected or to reconnect

with UQ Business School. It creates a variety of opportunities to

engage with fellow alumni, current students and UQ Business

School staff.

The Association promotes and supports the continued

development of a strong and engaged alumni community and

aims to provide valuable benefits, services and professional

development opportunities to its members. A dedicated

volunteer executive committee meets regularly to provide

alumni with information and events that suit their interests.

The Association offers guest lecturing, mentoring and seminar

opportunities for its alumni base, and is interested in hearing

about the careers and life experiences of its alumni.

The Association maintains regular communication with its

members through e-newsletters, website updates and online

communities such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Xing. It also

produces a bi-annual magazine to inform members of

upcoming events and recent activities of the Association.

2010 has seen many exciting events and luncheon seminars on

popular topics of interest and various career development and

networking events. The Association has also inaugurated the

Right: Tim Coles, Marketing and Alumni Coordinator.
