Jenny’s Habitat
Read to Find Out.
How does Jenny find a
special idea for her class project?
Jenny sat down to think, but suddenly she heard noises coming
from the yard. She looked out and saw two squirrels chasing each
other in a circle. Then Jenny heard a bird chirping.
Jenny told her mom that she was going out to the backyard.
Then everyone took a turn at showing and
telling about their dioramas.
Jenny showed her diorama of a backyard
habitat. There were flowers made of
circles of paper glued to sticks. There were
cardboard trees with shiny green paper
leaves. There were squirrels and birds made
of clay. There were tiny bees and insects
made of paper.
Of course, the grownups clapped for each
and every diorama. And Jenny clapped for
each and every diorama, too!
