The revolutionary Benchmark Connect wall system is a factory

pre-engineered multi spanning module that has excellent thermal,

structural and fire performance providing the ideal platform for

the Benchmark façade range.

Benchmark Connect is a modular system that can be quickly

lifted into position and bolted internally eliminating the need

for envelope scaffolding, reducing time on site and resulting in a

watertight building. The façade is removed from the critical path

and internal fit-out can commence sooner reducing programme

time.

The system is manufactured to BS EN 9001: 2000, has been

tested to CWCT and CERAM tests, achieving 60 years durability

and is backed by the Total Benchmark Guarantee.

The floor spanning capability makes Benchmark Connect the

perfect solution for all projects, from high storey apartment

blocks and offices, to controlled environments such as hospitals

and leisure facilities.

A comprehensive set of robust and thermally efficient details are

available from the benchmark Technical Services Department,

contact one of our team on the details below.

BEnEFITS

• Shortened time on site due to:

- The module performing as a monolithic wall

eliminating the need for secondary steelwork

- The module can be installed and fixed internally

- no scaffolding for envelope installation

- Multi spanning modules, up to 7 metres in length

- Fast weather proofing

- Faster to internal fit-out

• Reduced on site labour costs

• Thinner construction due to high performance

insulated panel technology

• U-values as low as 0.09 W/m²K are achievable

• Once installed the module is ready for fit-out of internal

plasterboard and external façade

• The module provides a cavity for services and mounting

structure for internal plasterboard

• Suitable for all types of buildings, new build or retrofit,

of any height

• The module is suitable for all Benchmark façades

and provides a ventilated cavity ready for the façade

• Prefitted glazing is an option

• The system achieves an air permeability of

The Benchmark Karrier Panel System is an alternative building

method to the Benchmark Connect system and is a unique

insulated panel that has been specifically designed and tested to

support Benchmark’s ranges of façades.

It can be laid vertically and horizontally, with or without a tophat

section to suit the Benchmark façade. The system provides

excellent weather resistance, thermal, acoustic, fire and structural

performance. The benchmark Karrier panel is a metal faced

insulated panel that makes the building watertight, removing the

façade from the critical path and enabling internal fit out to

start sooner.
