discussion on the topic of promoting health and well-being. All points made were<br />

recorded by the rappateur for the session, Ms. Breda Crehan-Roche, under the headings:<br />

‘What does different look like?’ and ‘How do we get there?’<br />

What does different look like?<br />

Access to services required would be based on need rather than related to age.<br />

Proactive Health Promotion.<br />

GPs, Consultants, Specialists etc would be trained in disability specific areas.<br />

Ownership for addressing health & well-being.<br />

Accessible relevant information for all stakeholders.<br />

Different would look different but yet be no different and therefore not stand out.<br />
