TRAINEE OF THE YEAR
Trainee of the Year
Shermeen Begum
Shermeen attended The Grey Coat Hospital School in Westminster
and completed A’ levels in History, English and Government and
Politics. She was interested in gaining an internship which would
enhance her future career prospects, particularly in Human
Resources. After a successful interview process with Michael Page
Shermeen was offered a placement starting in July. She spent a
large part of her time undertaking various project work set by
the Director and Managing Director of the business.
Shermeen’s manager said, “Shermeen has been a true asset to our
team this summer. It is rare that you see an Intern with the amount of
enthusiasm and positivity that Shermeen has brought to this role. I
know that Shermeen would have the capability to do this in any
business and I think that that is her truly unique and remarkable
Such was the positive feedback received
from colleagues within our business on
both the value of this programme and the
calibre of the trainees who worked with us,
that we are looking to extend and grow
our involvement in the CBT. We wish Rumel
and Belinda, who worked with us, and all
the students involved in the
scheme every success
in the future.
generally about the industry and working within an
investment bank”.
