Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m., on June 6, 2013 at Fauquier High School, 705 Waterloo Road, Warrenton, VA. (see page 2, Section 3.0 for further information). INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS 1. All specifications, terms and conditions set forth herein apply for contractual services rendered to Fauquier County Government and Public Schools. All bidders are bound by these conditions. Further, these conditions and requirements become part of any contract awarded between Fauquier County Government and Public Schools. 2. Any changes in the general conditions after the bid is advertised will be official only when submitted in writing and signed by the Supervisor of Procurement. Any and all changes will be made by addendum and sent to all recorded holders of the bid documents. All addenda issued will become part of the bid. 3. Should a bidder find discrepancies or ambiguities in, or omissions from, the solicitation, including, the drawings and/or specifications, he/she shall notify the Buyer at least three (3) days prior to the date set for the opening of bids. If necessary, the Buyer will send a written addendum for clarification to all bidders. 4. All information required by the solicitation should be supplied to constitute a responsive bid. All information submitted including prices should be typed so as to insure legibility. However, the bidder’s signature should be handwritten in ink in order for the bid to be considered.
