Partners <strong>in</strong> Policymak<strong>in</strong>g-- The goal <strong>of</strong> Partners <strong>in</strong> Policymak<strong>in</strong>g is to educate participants to<br />

be active partners <strong>with</strong> those who make policy and develop partnerships that are based on<br />

positive relationships. The Partners program is an e-learn<strong>in</strong>g site which gives Partners<br />

participants the opportunity to supplement their learn<strong>in</strong>g and <strong>in</strong>crease their knowledge and<br />

understand<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> best practices <strong>in</strong> the disability field, and learn how to communicate<br />

effectively <strong>with</strong> their elected <strong>of</strong>ficials. Five onl<strong>in</strong>e courses are now available: Partners <strong>in</strong><br />
