Health Grants-The United Healthcare <strong>Children</strong>’s Foundation is now <strong>of</strong>fer<strong>in</strong>g support to meet<br />

the needs <strong>of</strong> children by provid<strong>in</strong>g assistance grants <strong>for</strong> medical services not fully covered<br />

by health <strong>in</strong>surance. Parents and caretakers can apply <strong>for</strong> grants <strong>of</strong> as much as $5,000 <strong>for</strong><br />

services to improve their child’s life, such as speech and physical therapy, psychotherapy,<br />

wheelchairs, and hear<strong>in</strong>g aids. To be eligible, children must be 16 or younger, and families<br />

must meet economic guidel<strong>in</strong>es and already be covered by some type <strong>of</strong> commercial health<br />

Jeremy Foundation:-- Jeremy Foundation, Inc. will be network<strong>in</strong>g <strong>with</strong> pediatric hospitals to<br />

identify and help children <strong>with</strong> cancer. We help any child <strong>with</strong> cancer whose family is able to<br />

demonstrate f<strong>in</strong>ancial need regardless <strong>of</strong> socio-economic status prior to diagnosis. The<br />

Jeremy Foundation serves children from birth to age eighteen and their families. The<br />

Jill Fox Memorial Fund, Inc.-- The Jill Fox Memorial Fund provides grants to <strong>in</strong>dividuals<br />

<strong>with</strong> unmet medical and healthcare needs not paid <strong>for</strong> by medical <strong>in</strong>surance, government<br />

agencies, health associations, community organizations, public or personal resources.<br />

The Jill Fox Memorial Fund, Inc. accepts applications from degreed social workers or<br />

healthcare pr<strong>of</strong>essionals (RN, Occupational, Speech or Physical Therapist, Physician, Case<br />

Manager, etc.) who advocate on behalf <strong>of</strong> their clients. Individuals may not submit<br />

Low Intensity Support Services-the Developmental Adm<strong>in</strong>istration has contracted <strong>with</strong><br />

licensed providers to provide Low Intensity Support Services (LISS), previously known as<br />

Roll<strong>in</strong>g Access. LISS guidel<strong>in</strong>es allow an <strong>in</strong>dividual to request up to $3,000 per year, to make<br />
