The Volxheimer Liebfrau 2007 is a QbA quality dry
wine from the Rheinhessen region just south east
of the city of Mainz. Made from the Müller-Thurgau
grape, this wine enjoys a fine fruity aroma
of apricots intermingled with fresh tangy apple.
On the palate it is finely balanced with fruit and a
hint of spice. It is perfect with Asian food dishes.
Dirmsteiner Schwarzerde Spätlese 2007 comes
from the Pfalz region and is made from the Kerner
grape variety. Noted for producing wines with
Riesling like aromas with slightly fuller styles;
it excels in this Spätlese quality gently sweet
wine. Finally, we have Sandor 2008, a QbA red
wine from the Regent grape variety grown in the
Rheinhessen region. This red wine is a popular
choice and combines a bright red colour, good
fruit on the nose and a smooth, sweet and supple
style on the taste.

The Jean Gauthier distillery has been
specialising in Poire William Eau de Vie for
over 40 years. Situated in the small village of
Saint Désirat in the heart of the Rhône valley,
the company buys fruit from the surrounding
farmers who proudly proclaim to produce the

The distiller‘s art is to produce a smooth and
subtle tasting fruit brandy and Jean Gauthier
is one of the most respected producers.
The glass carafe is placed over the young

filled with Pear William fruit brandy; pickled

Our aim is to please, all year round and
to do all the hard work for you when it
comes to giving presents, arranging
despatch in attractive and original
packaging, which is both decorative
and safe for the method of delivery
chosen, either by hand, via post or
by road transport.
Any wines which run out of stock will
be replaced by others of at least equal
quality and value.
All wines are bottled in the country
of origin unless otherwise stated.
