1. THE TOURISTIC GATHERINGS OF CATEGORY A<br />
This category comprises the <strong>FIM</strong> Classic Touristic Gatherings, which are:<br />
• The <strong>FIM</strong> Rally<br />
• The <strong>FIM</strong> Motocamp<br />
• The <strong>FIM</strong> Rendez-Vous Meritum<br />
For these meetings, special additional rules are published.<br />
2. ORGANISATION<br />
<strong>FIM</strong> Classic Touristic Gatherings may be organised:<br />
• By an FMN (National Motorcycling Federation affiliated to the <strong>FIM</strong>).<br />
• By an individual or corporate body when authorised to do so by an FMN for<br />
meetings within its own territory.<br />
• The <strong>FIM</strong> Management Council or, if necessary, the Executive Board, may<br />
authorise the organisation of one or more Touristic Gatherings in a country<br />
where there is no <strong>FIM</strong> affiliate, under the supervision of an FMN, with the<br />
prior consent of the latter and the organiser of the Touristic Gathering,<br />
under conditions which are to be determined in each case by the <strong>FIM</strong><br />
Management Council or, if necessary, the Executive Board.<br />
3. DESIGNATION<br />
The use of titles of <strong>FIM</strong> Classic Touristic Gatherings: <strong>FIM</strong> Rally, <strong>FIM</strong> Motocamp,<br />
<strong>FIM</strong> Rendez-Vous Meritum or any other description or designation of a Touristic<br />
Gathering which implies a World or Continental status under the auspices of the<br />
<strong>FIM</strong>, and/or use of the terms "International" or "Championship" as title or subtitle,<br />
is reserved for meetings which are accordingly entered in the <strong>FIM</strong> Calendar.<br />
These titles can also be used in official, promotional or advertising documents,<br />
etc., providing prior approval of the <strong>FIM</strong> has been obtained. Non-observance<br />
entails prescribed penalties.<br />
In accordance with Art. 3 of the <strong>FIM</strong> Statutes, any question relating to all<br />
television, radio, video cassette, sponsoring, marketing, advertising,<br />
merchandising, promotion, licensing and any other rights of gatherings or<br />
activities under the auspices of the <strong>FIM</strong> are within the exclusive control of the<br />
<strong>FIM</strong>.<br />
