Product Activation FotoWeb 6.0 Reference Manual Chapter 3: Configuring FotoWeb After the installation the FotoWeb configuration wizard is started automatically. If you do have an activated FotoWeb license on the server, the configuration wizard will start the activation wizard allowing you to enter your product key and activate it over the Internet. FotoWeb must be activated for the configuration to continue. If you choose not to activate at this time or do not have the product key available, can simply cancel the configuration. Depending on whether you did a clean install of FotoWeb or upgraded an existing installation to version 6.0, one of two following shortcuts are placed on your desktop: Clicking on these icons will resume the configuration/activation wizard. The ‘Configure FotoWeb’ icon indicates a clean install while the ‘Upgrade FotoWeb Configuration’ indicates an upgrade from a previous version. After you have completed the configuration these icons are removed from the desktop. 17
