MISSION<br />

Our mission is to be the leading, culturally diverse and<br />

family-oriented international school with English as the<br />

principal language of instruction.<br />

We inspire individuals to develop their intellect, creativity<br />

Implement a successful corporate partnership program to raise<br />

additional revenues per year.<br />

Develop a sustainable alumni network and implement a targeted<br />

fundraising campaign to raise a majority of the funds to execute<br />

specified projects.<br />

Long-term fundraising strategies will include securing donations<br />

from foundations, endowments, and government grants.<br />

Fundraising will include new avenues <strong>for</strong> corporate sponsorship of<br />

academic and extra-curricular programs, including professional<br />

development, athletics, per<strong>for</strong>ming arts, and specialized faculty.<br />

Pricing strategies will be explored <strong>for</strong> additional costs <strong>for</strong><br />

supplemental services, academic credits and extra-curricular<br />

programs.<br />

Mission-aligned, revenue producing activities <strong>for</strong> the community<br />

will be investigated (evening classes, local faculty professional<br />

development, sports and leisure, and adult education).<br />

The master schedule and program offerings in each division will<br />

undergo a cost-effectiveness review.<br />

We will continue to develop and implement a FIS Master<br />

Plan that minimizes disruption to learning and that<br />

supports realization of our mission.<br />

Specific Result 1: Develop a Master Plan <strong>for</strong> the Wiesbaden campus.<br />

Specific Result 2:<br />

Create a set of protocols to ensure security is enhanced and safety<br />

is maintained during the implementation of the Master Plan.<br />

Specific Result 3:<br />

Establish communication protocols that keep all stakeholders<br />

in<strong>for</strong>med of the Master Plan’s implementation.<br />

Specific Result 4:<br />

Determine off-site facility solutions to maintain curricular and cocurricular<br />

programs during construction phases.<br />

A schedule and building use <strong>plan</strong> will be developed <strong>for</strong> each phase<br />

of construction.<br />

Specific Result 1: Achieve Year 1 Eco <strong>School</strong>s European Environmental <strong>School</strong> status.<br />

Create protocols to ensure successful implementation of<br />

Specific Result 2: a minimum of two environmental projects per year, while<br />

maintaining Eco <strong>School</strong> status.<br />

Create and present a recommendation to the Curriculum Council<br />

Specific Result 3: to align and implement a comprehensive First Steps - Grade 12<br />

Environmental Citizenship curriculum component.<br />

FIS resource consumption and reduction data will be accurately<br />

collected and analyzed to support reduction goals.<br />
