Art in the <strong>Park</strong><br />
Join the <strong>Freeport</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> and the <strong>Freeport</strong> Art Museum as<br />
we welcome back the fourth annual, award winning, Art in the<br />
<strong>Park</strong>. Come out to Krape <strong>Park</strong> and enjoy the sights and sounds<br />
at this FREE community event. Cruise the walks and view the<br />
fine art on display by local and regional artists. Listen as<br />
performing artists take the stage throughout the day. Partake in<br />
creative hands-on activities with the kids. Don’t miss out on this<br />
unique event!<br />

Celebrate the harvest season at Oakdale! Start the morning off with a delicious<br />
pancake breakfast with locally made sausage, hot apple toppings and pure<br />
maple syrup. Enjoy the trails in fall color, shop the craft and farmer’s market<br />
booths, and take a wagon ride through the prairie. Kids can make a scarecrow<br />
and participate in nature crafts, hikes and old-time craft demonstrations.<br />
Admission to the event is free. Some activities may have a fee.<br />
Breakfast tickets are: $6 for adults, $5 ages 5-11.<br />

Halloween at Krape <strong>Park</strong><br />
Trick-or-Treat Trail<br />
A great alternative to neighborhood trick-or-treating, children can get all their<br />
treats in Krape <strong>Park</strong>. Not only will there be plenty of treats, there will also be<br />
fun entertainment. A limited number of bags are available to trick-or-treaters.<br />
The Trick-or-Treat Trail will begin at the carousel.<br />
Free to attend. Entertainment at the Koenig Amphitheatre.<br />

Breakfast with the Grinch<br />
Start the Holiday Season off with a BANG! Bring your friends and<br />
family to Breakfast with the Grinch. You will be feasting on green<br />
eggs and ham, a donut and milk. Have your picture taken with the<br />
Grinch and bring home a goodie bag. Kids will also get to enjoy the<br />
story of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Everyone in attendance<br />

Bunny Trail<br />
Here comes Peter Cotton Tail, hopping down the bunny trail. Join the Bunny in Krape <strong>Park</strong> for an<br />
Eggstravagant event! Be sure to bring your Spring Basket as there will be many great opportunities<br />
to fill it up with goodies and eggs. This Eggciting event puts a fun spin on the typical egg hunt.<br />
Plus, there is a chance that the Easter Bunny may be stopping by to visit with all the kids in the<br />
park.<br />

Bunny Basket Delivery<br />
The Easter Bunny will be making a visit to <strong>Freeport</strong> and is willing to make a special<br />
visit to your house to deliver a basket filled with goodies. To signup for this<br />
unique program, call or stop by the <strong>Freeport</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> Office and put your<br />
name on the list. Registration is limited, so signup early. The Bunny will<br />
only make deliveries between 1:00 and 4:00 PM, and residences must<br />
be within <strong>Freeport</strong> <strong>Park</strong> <strong>District</strong> boundaries.<br />
