and was wearing a UD pack when he set the record running the Colorado Trail and the 

John Muir Trail in 2000. He knows what athletes need because he is one.

and a squeeze. 

IT’S AS EASY AS: PULL, BITE, SQUEEZE, 

KICK 

• Pull the valve up with your fingers or teeth. 

• Bite the valve and aim the flow to the side or bottom of your mouth. 

• Squeeze the bottle. For a sip, a slight draw will suffice. For a big gulp, 

apply more pressure. 

• Kick the valve to the side and it will automatically slip into its retracted,
