Die Vienna Fashion Week CD Vol.01 begeistert mit Tracks aus der Insider- und Kenner-Szene - so
vielseitig, smooth als auch ausdrucksvoll wie die Kollektionen unserer Designer, so individuell sind
auch die Tracks der nationalen und internationalen Künstler der ersten offziellen Vienna Fashion
Week CD Vol.01. Die Musik reicht von chilliger und gemütlicher Lounge-Musik bis hin zu elektronischen
und treibenden Clubbeats. Einige Tracks wurden eigens für die erste Vienna Fashion Week
CD Vol.01 produziert und werden erstmals bei den Shows gespielt.
The Vienna Fashion Week CD Vol.01 enthuses with tracks from the insider and expert scene – so
versatile, smooth and expressive as the collections of our designers, so too are the tracks of
national and international artists of the first official Vienna Fashion Week CD Vol.01. The music
ranges from chill and cozy lounge music to electronic and driving club beats. Some tracks have
been specially produced for the firrst Vienna Fashion Week CD Vol.01 and will be played at the
shows for the first time.

CD 2 MIXED BY JENS TIMBER
Bereits im Alter von 14 Jahren entdeckte Jens Timber seine Leidenschaft für Musik. Zunächst experimentierte
er am Klavier mit Spielarten von Jazz und Funk, wo er auch seine ersten Erfahrungen
mit dem Produzieren von Musik sammelte. Später begeisterte er sich für elektronische Musik und
konzentrierte sich verstärkt auf seine Tätigkeit als DJ. Das breite musikalische Spektrum von Jens
Timber spannt einen Bogen von Genren wie Chillout, Lounge und Jazz bis hin zu Minimal, Houseund
Techno-Music. Zusammen mit MG-Sound brachte er das Album „The Minimal Room“ heraus
und machte sich mit diversen Fashion und Art – Projekten einen Namen. Mit seiner Leidenschaft
für hochwertige elektronische Musik zählt er zu den herausragenden Künstlern seiner Branche.
At the age of 14, Jens Timber discovered his passion for music. At first he experimented on the
piano with variations of Jazz and Funk, where he made his first experiences with the production
of music. Later he enthused with electronic music and increasingly concentrated on his job as a
DJ. The broad musical spectrum of Jens Timber ranges from the genres of Chillout, Lounge, Jazz
up to Minimal, House-and Techno Music. In cooperation with MG-Sound he released the CD “The
minimal room”, and he made a name for himself with various fashion and art projects. With his
passion for high quality electronic music he is one of the most talented artists in his field.

Hinter AFFKT steckt Marc Martinez Nadal, der für elektronische Musik steht. Als
einer der aktivsten Erneuerer zeitgenössischer Housemusik bezieht er die Sounds,
die er fühlt, liebt und kennt mit ein und leiht sich die Rythmen von Jazz, Soul,
Latin, Pop und Funk aus.
Als AFFKT ist er einer der führenden spanischen Produzenten, der im Februar
dieses Jahres sein exzellentes Debut Album „Punto 0“ veröffentlichte.
Marc Martinez Nadal emerges with AFFKT, his new stage name. AFFKT is synonymous
for electronic music - he is precisely one of the most active innovators of
contemporary house music- incorporating as well all the sounds he feels, loves
and knows with harmony, borrowing them from jazz, soul, latin, pop, funk, etc.
As AFFKT he is one of the leaders of the new wave of Spanish producers and in
February of this year he released his excellent debut album „Punto 0“.

Ante Perry polarisiert in vielerlei Hinsicht – mit seiner Erscheinung, seinen kompromisslosen
DJ Sets (Deep House, Techno), seinen eigenen Events, vielseitigen Produktionen und dem
Spaß an seinem vergnügungsliebenden Künstlerleben, das er mit jedem teilt, der den gleichen
Humor hat. Wir sprechen hier von einem waschechten Workaholic der Musikszene,
der mit einigen simplen Keywords entlarvt werden kann. „Flashing Disco Sounds“, „Dortmund“,
„Diskobear“, „apeoffice“, „Moonbootique“, „Systematic“ und „Ante TV“ sind nur
einige Schlagworte, die auf den weltweit bekannten Ante Perry zutreffen.

Als Musiker oder Komponist, De Baié weckt tiefe emotionale Bilder in den

Daniel Dexter ist eine in Berlin lebende One Man Show. Er ist zeitgleich DJ, Produzent
und Labelinhaber. Geprägt vom Chicagosound und Detroit Techno veröffentlichte
er Anfang 2013 sein Debutalbum „Focus On“ auf Steve Bug‘s Label „Poker
Flat Recordings“, nachdem schon die im Vorfeld erschienenen EPs „Storm“ und
„No House For Old Men“ in Clubs weltweit für Furore gesorgt hatten.
The Berlin-based Daniel Dexter is a one man show - being producer, DJ and labelowner
at the same time. A jack of all trades influenced by and devoted to stripped
down House, the sound of Chicago and Detroit Techno that has been picked by
Steve Bug for releasing his debut album „Focus On“ via Poker Flat Recordings in
early 2013 just after setting dancefloors on fire with serious dancefloor killer EPs
like „Storm“ or „No House For Old Men“.
CÉLINE ROSCHEK
Céline Roscheck wurde 1983 in Bregenz geboren und besitzt die schweizerische und österreichische
Staatsbürgerschaft. Seit Ihrem 4 Lebensjahr spielt Céline Roscheck Violine.
2011 hat sie an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien ihr Magister Studium
abgeschlossen. Sie spielt sowohl auf der klassischen Violine als auch auf der elektronischen.
Ihr erstes Album „Electro String“ erschien im August 2011. Unterstützt wurde sie
dabei von Produzenten wie Wolfang Schlögl (Sofa Surfers) oder auch ECHOPILOT.
Celine Roschek was born in Bregenz in 1983 and is of Austrian and Swiss nationality.
Since the age of four, Celine Roschek has been playing the violin. In 2011 she graduated
from University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with her Masters degree. She plays
the classic- as well as the electronic violin. Her first album “Electro String” was published
in 2011. Producers such as Wolfgang Schlögl (Sofa Surfers) and Echopilot supported her.

DUKES AND ANIMALS
Das Wiener Elektropop-Duo Dukes and Animals feiert sein Debüt mit der Single „The
Atmosphere“ (Digital Release: 11.09.2013). Der Song überzeugt mit seiner Indie-Attitüde,
dem hymnenhaften Refrain und löst den sofortigen Drang aus, tanzen zu wollen.
Das Modelabel KAYIKO ist auf das gemeinsame Projekt der beiden Songwriter & Producer
Richard Ulmer und Jan Leers aufmerksam geworden. So ist es nicht verwunderlich,
dass „The Atmosphere“ Titelsong der neuen KAYIKO Kollektion ist und auf der
aktuellen „Vienna Fashion Week 2013“ Compilation verewigt wurde.
The Viennese Electropop-Duo Dukes and Animals are celebrating their debut with
the single „The Atmosphere“ (Digital Release: 11.09.2013). The song convinces with
indie-attitude and the anthemic refrain causes the immediate urge to dance. The fashion
label KAYIKO drew attention to the common project of the two songwriters and
producers Richard Ulmer and Jan Leers. It is not surprising that “The Atmospere” is
the theme song of the new KAYIKO collection and is eternalized on the current “Vienna
Fashion Week 2013” compilation.

FABIO GIANELLI
Der 1986 in Italien geborene Künstler Fabio Giannelli macht schon sein halbes Leben lang das, was
er am besten kann: er bringt ganze Tanzflächen zum Schwitzen. Schon mit 13 Jahren stieg er mit
seinen eigenen Turntables und Mixer in die Musikwelt ein. Seither bleibt er der Techno-Musikbranche
treu. 2006 begann er mit der Produktion seiner eigenen Tracks. Obwohl sein Stil eine wesentliche
Veränderung seit diesen Anfängen durchlebt hat, ist Fabio stolz auf seinen musikalischen Weg und
seine Karriere, die er damit eingeschlagen hat.
A product of ‚86, Italian born Fabio Giannelli has spent exactly half his life doing what he does best:
making dance floors sweat. At the age of 13 he entered the music world with his very first turntable
and mixer. Since then he has not strayed from the realms of electronic music. In 2006 he began producing
his own tracks. His style has changed significantly since those early ventures into production
but Fabio is still proud of his musical routes and the path he began to forge for himself.
Die Single des Wiener Duo‘s Julian & der Fux „Speckbrot“ wurde vom Ausnahmeproduzenten
Ken Hayakawa überarbeitet, verfeinert und für den Club
aufbereitet. Mit diesem Remix wird ein weiterer Song im frischen „Wiener
Sound“ präsentiert – gekonnt vermengt Hayakawa sein Gespür für deepe und
technoide Sounds mit den Vocals, sowie dem scharfsinnigen und selbstironischen
Text des Duo‘s.
The duo Julian & the fux’s single „Speckbrot“was revised, refined and club-prepared
by the exceptional producer Ken Hayakawa. The Remix presents another
fresh Viennese sound – Hayakawa mixes skillfully his sense for deep techno
sounds with vocals as well as the duo’s keen witted and self-ironic lyrics.

Die „LA ROCHELLE BAND“ live besteht aus Peter
Cruseder am Keyboard und Elektronik, Seimen
Get am Schlagzeug und dem Gesang von Farina
Miss. Sie sind eine dynamische Live Band, die
das Gleichgewicht aus Live Improvisationen und
Album-sounds gefunden haben. Die Band La Rochelle
ist benannt nach einer französischen Stadt,
wo die Sonne immer scheinen soll. Das können
auch die Zuschauer von den Live Shows erwarten
- gute Laune und eine tolle Atmosphäre.
Karl Moestl gilt als einer der ersten österreichischen elektronischen Produzenten und Musikpioniere.
Unter dem Kruder&Dorfmeister Label, G-Stone, zählt er zu einem der erfolgreichsten
Artists. Seine Produktionen erreichten mehrere Topplatzierungen in den Clubcharts, weltweite
Radio Airplays und Lizensierungen.
Der Titel „My Soul can fly“, der 2013 released wurde, erzielte auf Youtube über 118.000 Views und
zigtausende Soundcloud Plays und wurde zu einer kleinen Sommerhymne auf FM4.

Der gute Mann hat alle Kontinente bereist, drei Ehen hinter sich, Sinatra studiert
(und ihm auch persönlich die Hand geschüttelt) und jahrzehntelang sich als
Barsänger sein Geld verdient. Und, das ist gewiss auch eine Erwähnung wert,
nach fünf Alben bringt Austen nun abermals eine neue Note ins Spiel - What a
Comeback!
This man travelled all continents, made it through three marriages, studied Sinatra
(and also shook his hand) and earned his living as a bar singer for decades.
And, just to let you know, even after five albums Austen changes things up again
– What a Comeback!

LUNA CITY EXPRESS
Luna City Express sind Norman Weber und Marco Resmann. Seit 2000 produzieren
sie gemeinsam Tracks, treten als DJ-Team auf und veranstalten
eigene Parties. Marco und Norman präsentieren bis heute einen Stil, der
alle Facetten der House Musik beinhaltet. 2004 gaben sie ihrem Projekt
den Namen Luna City Express und veröffentlichten seither erfolgreiche EPs,
Remixes und CDs unter verschiedenen Labels – unter anderem unter Moon
Harbour.
Luna City Express is an association of Norman Weber and Marco Resmann.
Beginning in 2000, they have been producing tracks, performing as a dj duo
and hosting parties. Marco and Norman’s style characterizes all facets of
house music. In 2004 they named their project “Luna City Express”. Since
then they have published successful EPs, Remixes and CDs – among
others with the label Moon Harbour.

MARTIN MEISTER
Internationale Fotografen wie Rankin verewigten Martin Meister in dem Buch ‘Rankin
Works’. Vogue Italia buchte ihn für eine 6-seitige Print Strecke in Givenchy. Entdeckt hatte
ihn eigentlich Pop Ikone Madonna in London 1998. Diese buchte Martin Meister für ihr
Projekt ’Drowned World/ Substitute For Love’. Doch das war eigentlich lange nach seiner
eigentlichen Formation als Musiker, Texter und Performer.
International celebrity photographer Rankin perpetuated Martin Meister in his book ‘Rankin
Works’ next to the likes of Bjork and David Bowie. Vogue Italia had a six page print feature
of him dressed in Givenchy. Martin Meister was actually discovered by pop icon Madonna in
London 1998. Madonna hired him for her project ‘Drowned World/Substitute For Love’. It all
happened well after Martin started out as a musician, lyricist and performer.
MATEUS ist ein außergewöhnliches Projekt, das ständig mutiert und sich weiter entwickelt. MA-
TEUS‘ Musik lässt sich einerseits als Ausgangspunkt für die tiefgehende Erkundung des Dance
Floors definieren, andererseits bewegt sie sich durchaus auch an den Grenzen der elektronischen
Musik, belebt durch klassisch ausgebildete Live--Musiker, die für den speziellen experimentellen
Sound auf der Bühne mitverantwortlich sind. Der Mann hinter dem Projekt - Ricardo Tovar Mateus
- ist ein Komponist von Klassik sowie Filmmusik und experimenteller Sounddesigner.
MATEUS is an exceptional project that is constantly mutating and evolving. MATEUS’ music can
be defined as a reference point for deeper explorations of the dance floor, but also right out into
the fringes of electronic music with classically trained Live-musicians, who are responsible for the
special experimental sound on stage. But there’s also Ricardo Tovar Mateus – the man behind the
project, a classic- and film music composer and experimental sound designer.

MATT JOHN
Matthias Tanzmann startete seine DJ- und Produzentenkarriere Mitte der Neunziger Jahre
im renommierten Leipziger Club Distillery und veröffentlichte seine ersten Platten als Gamat
3000 auf Dessous Recordings. Im Jahr 2000 gründete Matthias Tanzmann das Label
„Moon Harbour Recordings“, das sich schnell zu einer der Topadressen für Deep- und
Techhouse entwickelte. Auch das Label „Cargo Edition“ stammt aus seinen Händen. Seit
Jahren tourt er ununterbrochen durch die globale Clubszene, tritt auf namhaften Festivals
auf und produziert wegweisende Tracks.
Matthias Tanzmann started his career as a dj and producer in the mid 90ies at the famous
club Distillery in Leipzig. In 2000 he founded the label „Moon Harbor Recordings“, which
established quickly as one of the top addresses for deep- and techno house. He also
launched the label „Cargo Edition“. For the last few years he has been touring the global
clubscene and performs at prestigious festivals and produces groundbreaking tracks.
Was kommt nach Montag? Spaß am Dienstag... Holografisch, so nennt Matt John
- DJ und Produzent - seinen Sound, wenn man ihn danach fragt. Im Technomekka
Berlin wird er als „King of the Afterhours“ gefeiert und mit seinem außergewöhnlichen
Sound und stundenlangen Sets Resident DJ der legendären Bar25. 2006 gibt
Matt mit seinem Release „Was kommt nach Montag“ den Anstoß zur Gründung des
Bar25 Labels.
What‘s coming after Monday? Fun on Tuesday...
Holographic- that‘s how Matt John, a Berlin based DJ and producer describes his
sound. In Berlin, the techno mecca, he is celebrated as “King of the Afterhours” with
his extraordinary sound and his long lasting sets as resident DJ of the legendary Bar
25. In 2006 Matt initiated the foundation of the label Bar 25 with his release “Was
kommt nach Montag?” (translation: “What‘s coming after Monday?”).
MIHAI POPOVICIU
Mihai Popoviciu ist einer der konstruktivsten Produzenten aus der osteuropäischen
Szene. Durch zahlreiche erfolgreiche Releases hat er die Aufmerksamkeit des Berliner
DJ / Produzenten und Labelinhaber Steve Bug auf sich gezogen, der ihn anschließend
unter Vertrag nahm und mit ihm das 12“ Release „Here“ veröffentlichte, das weitreichende
Resonanz erhielt.
Mihai Popoviciu is one of the most prolific producers hailing from the Eastern European-scene.
With a string of releases, Mihai‘s work ultimately drew the attention of the
Berlin based DJ / producer and label owner Steve Bug as well who has signed Mihai
for a widely responsed 12“ release on his trademark TechHouse-imprint Poker Flat
Recordings named „Here“.

Er ist einer der bekanntesten DJs Wiens, wenn es um anspruchsvollen House und
reguläres Spielen in bekannten Clubs wie Volksgarten, Sass, Pratersauna, Auslage
und viele mehr geht. Zurzeit konzentriert sich Mikele darauf, seine eigene Musik
zu produzieren und zu veröffentlichen. „A Kind Of Light“ ist seine erste Veröffentlichung.
Luv Lite Recordings features die wundervolle Stimme von Aminata Seydi.

of Vienna’s most popular DJs in terms of sophisticated house music he is playing

Ogris Debris sind ein international gefeiertes House/Techno Duo aus Wien, das
regelmäßig im Radio in ganz Europa gespielt wird. Seit dem Zusammenschluss
2007 haben Ogris Debris zahlreiche 12“ singles, EPs und Remixe veröffentlicht.
Besonders beachtenswert ist ihr Debut beim „Compost Black Label Series“,
worauf gleich darauf der trans-europäische Hit „Miezekatze“ folgte.
Ogris Debris are an internationally acclaimed house/techno duo coming from
Vienna.
They receive regular airplay on national radio across Europe. Since forming
in 2007, Ogris Debris have released numerous 12“ singles, EPs and remixes.

For over 17 years now, Pascal FEOS has been devoting his life to electronic music and
has always remained true to his roots. Starting with sporadic DJ engagements during a
time when the DJ was only booked to fill up the club and maximize the bar profit up to
his first solo album, his sound shows a style defining continuity - the essence of a certain

Der Wiener Künstler, Produzent und DJ Peter Kruder ist einer der Legenden elektronischer
Musik. Seit der Veröffentlichung von „G-Stoned“ EP (G-Stone, 1994), zusammen
mit seinem Partner Richard Dorfmeister als „Kruder und Dorfmeister“, ist sein Name ein
Synonym für hochqualitative Musikproduktionen in Kombination mit Geschmack und Stil
am DJ Set.
Viennese artist, producer and DJ Peter Kruder is one of the legendary figures of electronic

RODNEY HUNTER
Ein klassischer Senkrechtstarter war Rodney Hunter nie: Er hatte schon über 15 Jahre
Erfahrung und eine Grammy-Nominierung als Produzent in der Tasche, als er vor
knapp zehn Jahren sein gefeiertes erstes Soloalbum veröffentlichte. In diesem Frühjahr
lässt der Producer-Veteran aus Wien nun den „Hunter Express“ einfahren, so der
Titel seines dritten Albums, das auf Funk, Electro, Soul, House und HipHop basiert.
Rodney Hunter has never been a classical high-flyer: With an experience of more than
15 years and a Grammy-nomination as a producer, he released his first solo-album
10 years ago. This spring the Viennese producer- veteran published the “Hunter Express”
– so the title of his third album, which is based on funk, electro, soul, house
and hiphop.

Nachdem sie Anfang des Jahres Pan-Pots “Gravity” remixed haben ist das Duo Clint Stewart
und Marc Smith aus San Francisco unter „mobilee imprint“ als „Safeword“ mit ihrem
96. Release zurück. Die dreiteilige EP ist eine gefühlvolle Beat Ballade, die die drei gegenwärtigen
Phasen der Entwicklung der menschlichen Liebe musikalisch definiert.
Safeword verkörpert die wesentlichen Kernessenzen von Hip-Hop, RnB, new wave und
zeitgenössischer Dancemusik.
After remixing Pan-Pot’s “Gravity” earlier this year, San Francisco sound duo Clint Stewart

The 3-part EP is a soulful beat-ballad musically defining the three most present phases
of the evolution of human love.
Safeword embodies the very essentials of key musical genres such as hip-hop, RnB, new
wave and contemporary dance music.
Ruede ist seit 2006 im Berliner Watergate Club Resident-DJ und hat mit seinem
Partner Fraenzen ein eigenes Studio eingerichtet, in dem sie am am gemeinsamen
Projekt THE CHEAPERS tüfteln. Seit 2007 gehört er zu den Artists von
„Upon You Records“, auf dem er inzwischen mehrere EP’s veröffentlicht hat –
allesamt mit der so ganz typischen, unverwechselbaren Hagelstein-Bassline.2
Since 2006 Ruede has been performing as a resident dj at the Berlin Watergate
Club. He established his own studio with his partner Fraenzen, where they work
meticulously on their project THE CHEAPERS. Since 2007 he is one of the artists
of „Upon You Records“, where he has published several EP’s – all of them with
the typical, distinctive Hagelstein-Passline.2

SAM VAHDAT
Sam Vahdat ist ein österreichischer Musikproduzent. Er arbeitete für einige der namhaftesten
heimischen Popacts der letzten Jahre (Trackshittaz, Natalia Kelly, Neodisco, Nadine Beiler usw.)
und war verantwortlich für mehrere Nummer-1-Alben und Chartplatzierungen. Vahdat zieht keine
Grenzen zwischen Indie und Kommerz. Wichtig ist nur, dass die Musik mit Herz gemacht ist. Der
Track »High Heels« feat.Céline Roscheck ist schick, tanzbar und dekadent.
Sam Vahdat is an Austrian music producer. He has been working for some of the most famous
Austrian pop-acts during the last years (Trackshittaz, Natalia Kelly, Neodisco, Nadine Beiler etc.)
and he was responsible for lots of number 1 albums and chart-placements. Vahdat does not draw
any lines between Indie or commercial music. The only important thing is, that the music is made

und Produzenten Sergio Flores, welche sich wieder zu einer Club Hymne entwickelt.
Sie schaffte es dieses Jahr auf den #1 Platz der Traxsource House Charts und hielt sich
dort für mehrere Wochen. Sein letzter Titel für das Label Defected (wahrscheinlich das
weltweit angesehenste House Label) „Give It Back“ wird von der internationalen DJ Elite
geliebt und noch immer gespielt.

Sergio Flores. It peaked at the #1 spot on the Traxsource House Charts this year and stayed
in the Top 10 for a few weeks. His latest release on Defected (probably the world‘s most
renowned House label), „Give It Back“ is still being championed by the world‘s DJ elite.
STIMMING
„Ich fürchte mich weder davor, meine Gefühle zu zeigen, noch, sie in meine Musik einfließen
zu lassen.“ Als noch relativ junger Künstler hat Martin Stimming genau das gemacht
– er präsentierte einen kultivierten aber dennoch sehr ansprechenden Sound, der von
einem Musikliebenden seines Alters nicht erwartet werden würde. Aus dem Musikpool
der DJ Szene, der von mittelmäßiger Ähnlichkeit dominiert wird, sticht Martin Stimmings
Musik als wahrhaftig außergewöhnlich heraus. Seine Produktionen sind erfüllt von seinen
einzigartigen, charismatischen Aufnahmen, bei denen er niemals das gleiche Sample
zweimal verwendet.

young age, Hamburg’s Martin Stimming did just that, demonstrating a sophisticated
yet accessible sound that’s beyond his years.
Amidst a sea of mediocre similarity in dance music, Martin Stimming’s work stands out as
truly different. His productions are filled with a multitude of his own unique, charismatic
field recordings, and he never uses the same sample more than once.
