<strong>The</strong> award comes from ACTA,<br />
the most important <strong>and</strong> creative<br />
organization in higher education,<br />
one that supports high academic<br />
st<strong>and</strong>ards, academic freedom,<br />
<strong>and</strong> institutional accountability.<br />
<strong>The</strong>re is a great need for a national<br />
organization that oversees this field.<br />

price. Our network consists <strong>of</strong> alumni <strong>and</strong> trustees from more than 700 colleges <strong>and</strong> universities, including over<br />
10,000 current board members. Our quarterly newsletter, Inside Academe, reaches over 13,000 readers.
