Air-jet sieve shaker 200 LS-N
An analysis-sieve shaker with advanced features. For lab work
requiring highly exact, reproducible sieve analyses.
The clearly organized membrane keypad ensures ease of operation.
Extraordinarily good dispersing of the sieved material by the air jet
enables measurements down to 10 µm with micro-precision sieves.
The 200 LS-N is the successor model to the Alpine air-jet sieve,
model 200 LS; which was manufactured for more than 30 years.

20 µm to approx. 4000 µm

200 LS-N basic unit with complete advanced as follows:
- Integrated processor for direct evaluation of sieved material
(in grams) to the undersize fraction in %
- Key-activated direct calculation of screen undersize material (D),
by only the press of a button. Manual conversion is no longer
necessary
- Direct display on the panel of sieving results. Printout of the
undersize fraction in tabular form is also possible on an
interfaced printer (option)
- Two RS 232 C serial interfaces for direct connection to lab balance
and printer, or to PC
- Electronic timer switch. Manual start/stop and interrupt function
are possible at any time
- Memory for the mass of the sample beeing sieved. An additional
9 memory functions are available for use as the operator requires
- Tare resetting for lab balance (available as an option: the balance
is not part of the standard equipment)
- Display of sub-atmospheric pressure: setting of sub-atmospheric
pressure by bypass valve
- Simple parameterisation via keypad for setting the language
(German, English, French, Spanish) and the type of balance used
- Ergonomically designed cast-aluminium enclosure with coldequipment
socket for connection of vacuum cleaner. Special
materials and finishes are available upon request
- Sieve enclosure with self-centring feature for attachement of an
analytical drum sieve
- Polished slotted nozzle made of no. 1.4581 stainless steel.
Nozzle operation is via a geared motor (N = 20 W)
Scope of delivery: the standard device with plexiglas cover, tapping
hammer and 3-metre connection cable with right-angle plug
230 V / 50 Hz or 110 V / 60 Hz
