in the region and in Intended export markets. Dr. Contreras will be<br />
responsible for all analysis related to the issue of pesticide usage, will<br />
take lead responsibility for assessing the issue of light industrial<br />
pollution/waste management, and will serve as overall quality control for the<br />
F'viro -ental As5ssS-e. t activity.<br />
Dr. Wayne Williams will serve as the Environmental Specialist. Dr. Williams<br />
has extensive'experience in preparing environmental analyses, and is familiar<br />
with Central American agriculture, ecosystems and human impact patterns. Dr.<br />
Williams will take lead responsibility for assessing the issue of potential<br />
natural resource conflicts, and will help assess the light industrial<br />
pollution/waste management issue.<br />
5.0 SCHEDULE AND TIMING<br />
A draft EA will be completed not later than 15 May 1991, and a final EA<br />
will be incorporated into the final EXITOS Project Paper as an annex on or<br />
about 7 June 1991.<br />
