contemplation or relaxed dining enjoying the garden.”

children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, there can be quite a large

number of us gathering, which happened quite recently when I celebrated my

90th birthday here. The large garden is mainly laid to lawn with trees and

herbaceous beds, plus there is a delightful water feature and an idyllic summer

house containing a wooden hammock built by Peter; one of his favourite places.

Springhill, built in 1981 by the current owners to
