Welcome back to the Motor City! We are excited to once again host the<br />
Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix and we look forward to your participation<br />
in this year's event. With your support, the 2013 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle<br />
<strong>Grand</strong> Prix continues to be one of the most popular and anticipated events of the<br />
summer. We thank you for your partnership and we are excited to provide our<br />
fans a tremendous racing experience as well as a weekend full of entertainment,<br />
May 31-June 2.<br />
Belle Isle Park and the Detroit and Windsor riverfronts will once again serve as<br />
extraordinary hosts to more than 100,000 race fans, hospitality guests and<br />
participants, as we welcome world-class racing back.<br />
We look forward to hosting the IZOD IndyCar Series for the Chevrolet Dual in<br />
Detroit presented by Quicken Loans, along with the <strong>GRAND</strong>-AM Rolex Series<br />
and the Pirelli World Challenge Series on Belle Isle for a truly diverse and<br />
entertaining racing lineup.<br />
This event is also important to the region as it will generate millions in economic<br />
impact for the Greater Detroit area. In addition to the direct economic benefit, the<br />
Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix, Inc., a subsidiary of the Downtown Detroit<br />
Partnership, has also made over $7 million in infrastructure improvements on<br />
Belle Isle and we continue to dedicate our efforts to improving the island, a true<br />
jewel of the Motor City. We are also happy to report that we‟ve made significant<br />
improvements to the racetrack itself, repairing all the problem areas from 2012<br />
and extending the course by a quarter of a mile to create more excitement for<br />
fans and more passing opportunities for the competitors.<br />
As we look ahead and begin preparations to host the teams on race weekend,<br />
we want to make sure everything is in order well in advance of your arrival.<br />
Attached you will find the team reference guide including team hospitality and<br />
motorcoach information for the 2013 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix.<br />

This schedule will be strictly enforced.<br />
Facility Rules:<br />
1. Event credentials must be displayed at all times. Drivers and crew are strongly cautioned<br />
not to exit paddock area without credentials. You will not be readmitted without proper<br />
credentials.<br />
2. All photographic, video, and digital images taken during any track event, including those<br />
featuring spectators or competitors, whether made or purchased by the Chevrolet Detroit<br />
Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix or its affiliates, are the property of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle<br />
<strong>Grand</strong> Prix and may be used in advertising and promotional materials at its sole<br />
discretion.<br />
3. Personal vehicles are not permitted in any of the Motorcoach or Hospitality areas without<br />
proper passes.<br />
4. No personal “off road” vehicles or ATVs are permitted on Belle Isle unless used for<br />
operational purposes.<br />
5. Golf carts must be operated by a licensed driver.<br />
6. Golf carts are not permitted on the MacArthur Bridge.<br />
7. Generators are not permitted unless attached to truck<br />
8. Motorcoach/Hospitality Spaces are not to be utilized as contest prizes nor used as part of<br />
a public promotional campaign.<br />
9. Staking awnings is not permitted on the asphalt or grass. Please use weights to secure<br />
your awnings.<br />
10. Only pre-approved event caterer permitted with the exception of Team Hospitality Areas<br />
11. No firearms are permitted on Belle Isle.<br />
12. NO pets, of any kind, are permitted at the Raceway at Belle Isle.<br />
13. Failure to abide by these rules may result in expulsion from the premises.<br />

Detroit <strong>Grand</strong> Prix 2013: Insurance Requirements<br />
In order to protect the Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix, Inc., Downtown Detroit<br />
Partnership, Inc.; Detroit Renaissance Foundation, Inc.; The city of Detroit<br />
and Penske Corporation, its subsidiaries and their respective officers,<br />
directors and trustees, shall be named as assitional insured any and all claims<br />
arising from the work performed, and products and services supplied for the<br />
Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix event, certificates of insurance with limits and<br />
coverage as described below should be specified in the RFP.<br />
Above entities are to be included as additional insured as respects general<br />
liability and auto liability. Coverage shall be primary and non-contributory<br />
and shall include a waiver of subrogation in favor of the additional insured.<br />
Each contractor/supplier/vendor should produce the appropriate certificate of<br />
insurance prior to the start of a project, and annually thereafter during active<br />

TEAM GOLF CART AND SCOOTER INSURANCE INDEMNITY FORM<br />
The Team listed below is desirous of operating __________ (number) of golf carts and __________(number) of scooters<br />
during the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix (“Event”) weekend. In consideration of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle<br />
<strong>Grand</strong> Prix, Inc.‟s consent to Team‟s operation of its own golf carts and scooters, Team agrees to abide by the following<br />
terms and conditions:<br />
1. Team shall maintain comprehensive general liability insurance with a combined single limit of not<br />
less than $5,000,000 per occurrence for bodily injury and property damage with the Chevrolet<br />
Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix, Inc. (“DBI”), the Downtown Detroit Partnership Inc., the City of Detroit,<br />
and Penske Corporation and their successors, assigns, officers, directors, subsidiaries,<br />
shareholders, agents and employees (DBIGP Group) added as additional named insured. The DBI<br />
will be provided with a Certificate of Insurance in advance of the event that will confirm this<br />
insurance and that the policy contains severability of interest and cross-liability clauses. This<br />
Certificate of Insurance must be provided to DBI no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event.<br />
Failure to provide the Certificate of Insurance will result in access to the site being declined at<br />
DBI‟s sole discretion.<br />
2. Team agrees to defend, release, discharge, and hold free and harmless the DBIGP Group from<br />
any and all liability for injury to person or property suffered, or claimed to have been suffered, by<br />
Team or any guest or any other person making use of Team‟s Golf Cart and Scooter Operations<br />
that does not arise solely as a result of the DBIGP group‟s negligent acts or omissions. Team<br />
further agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the DBIGP Group from and against any<br />
and all claims, damages, and expenses, including but not limited to reasonable attorney‟s fees and<br />
legal costs of defense, arising from, related to, or in any way connected with or alleged to arise<br />
from the Team‟s Golf Cart and Scooter Operations which does not arise solely as a result of the<br />
indemnified person‟s negligence.<br />
3. Team shall fully indemnify and hold DBIGP Group harmless for all and any losses, damage, cost<br />
and expenses, including reasonable attorneys fees suffered or incurred by DBIGP if or to the<br />
extent that the same results from any negligent or willful act or omission of Team, its directors,<br />
officers, employees, agents, contractors, or sponsors.<br />
4. This Agreement was executed in duplicate. Team acknowledges receipt of a copy hereof. In the<br />
event of a dispute over this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to reasonable<br />
attorneys fees. All disputes shall be venued solely in Detroit, Michigan, where this Agreement was<br />

TEAM HOSPITALITY CATERING AGREEMENT<br />
The Team listed below is desirous of engaging and offering their own food and beverage service (“Team Food Service”) in<br />
lieu of dealing exclusively with the Official Track Caterer. Teams may use their own food & beverage caterer for their team<br />
and Team Hospitality only. All Chalets must use Andiamo‟s Catering & Events.<br />
In consideration of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle <strong>Grand</strong> Prix, Inc.‟s consent to Team‟s arranging for its own Team Food<br />
Service, Team agrees to abide by the following terms and conditions:<br />

is mandatory that a minimum 15‟ fire lane be maintained within the Team Hospitality area. Team agrees, when entering<br />
the Detroit Belle Isle to follow the instructions/directions given by Hospitality Officials to ensure compliance with the law.<br />
Team understands and agrees that due to insurance requirements and building codes, no structures (ie. platforms,<br />
stages, scaffolding, etc.) will be allowed to be placed/built on top of any vehicles or transporters.<br />
Team understands that each Team Hospitality space is marked off in 30 x 70 increments. Team further and agrees that<br />
the maximum width and length of its Hospitality Coach, including canopy, tent, parking of any golf carts, scooters, bikes,<br />
and auxiliary equipment cannot exceed the overall dimensions of the assigned space.<br />
Team acknowledges receipt of and agrees to comply with the rules, regulations and/or requirements stated in this<br />
