Please state what financial difficulty you are experiencing and why you believe your situation to be exceptional and to
merit additional support. You should detail how you have financially planned for study including work you undertake,
action you have taken to budget and personal or family circumstances which might jeopardise your ability to progress
in Higher Education – such as carer responsibilities or other adverse personal circumstances not conducive to study. In
addition, please explain how the Kathleen Jones Scholarship will enhance your student experience. Please ensure that
you attach any relevant supporting documentary evidence to validate your circumstances, including your
Financial Assessment Notification detailing your Student Support entitlement.

secure area which only you have access to and will require your student BANNERWEB ID and pin.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP YOUR BANK DETAILS UP TO DATE. FAILURE TO
ENTER OR UPDATE BANK DETAILS WILL RESULT IN YOUR PAYMENT BEING DELAYED
OR NOT ISSUED.

Applications are seen by university staff directly involved in the processing of
applications. Your details, if you are successful in your application will, however, be
passed to the Development and Alumni Team with a view to your participation in
