QUICK FOAM PLUS - Boot Doc

BD Tongue Foam Gun

Cartridge press for the tongue foaming

BD Toe Cap

Sizes: S / M / L

Toe caps for the foaming process

Foaming process – liner

1. Suitable sports socks / stockings are essential; BootDoc products are recommended

2. Attach the toe caps

3. Pull plastic protector over the feet (prevents staining if foam leaks out)

4. Prepare BootDoc insole and place into liner

5. Place foot into liner (preferably while liner is outside of the shell of the

shoe)

6. Lace up liner

7. Remove spoiler

8. Insert into shell of shoe (assistance may be required); the tubes must

be correctly attached and air permeability ensured; the liner can also be

inserted into a ski shoe – insert afterwards; in this case, the liner should be

laced up after insertion

9. All clasps and the Velcro strap should be engaged in the correct closing

position

10. Mix the two foam components A + B (wear gloves!)

11. Shake briefly (approx. 5 secs)

12. Screw foam bottle onto the adapter

13. Insert foam (squeeze bottle)

During this foam insertion process, the customer should move their feet

gently in the shoe (to ensure even distribution of the foam); a wedge profile

beneath the shoe is an advantage in this process

As soon as the contents of the bottle have been inserted into the liner and

the customer can feel the foam evenly distributed, the clasps are closed;

14. Collect any foam which escapes in small plastic bags

15. As soon as the foam reaction is complete (after approx. 5 mins), open the

clasps, remove foot from shoe and remove toe caps

16. Cut off tubes

17. Possibly attach spoiler for more templates

18. Place foot in shoe for another approx. 5 – 10 mins

19. Leftover foam… please dispose of as residual waste

Foaming process – foam tongue

It is generally advised that you complete the foaming process for the liner

first and then create the foam tongue in a second stage!

1. Use of a BootDoc foam liner PLUS version (already fitted with foam

tongue!)

• BD Regular Foam PLUS

• BD Quick Foam PLUS

• BD Quick Foam Comfort Fit PLUS

2. If no BD PLUS System is used, swap the original tongue for a BD foam

tongue. Ensure the correct positioning of the Velcro strap

3. Suitable sports socks / stockings are essential; BootDoc products are

recommended

4. Pull plastic protector over the feet (prevents staining if foam leaks out)

5. Place foot into liner (preferably while liner is outside of the shell of the

shoe)

6. Lace up liner

7. Use of the BD Tongue Gun (hand foam gun) and the cartridges supplied

8. Insert foam into the tongue (place a small plastic bag over the 2nd tube

to catch any foam which escapes)

9. Close the clasps from top to bottom (the bottom clasp should already be

closed in advance and remains in this position)

10. The shin must exert even pressure on the tongue cover throughout the

entire foaming process

11. Remove foot after 5 mins

12. Cut off the filling and overflow tube

13. Insert foot in liner with foam tongue for another 5 mins

14. Leftover foam… please dispose of as residual waste

Facts

The decentralised manufacture of ski shoes and a differentiation based

on size and shape alone mean that the individual characteristics of each

human foot cannot be fully taken into account. The shoe and customer

first come into contact in the sports shop.

The current state of the foot is examined using a suitable analysis system

based on the 3-pillar concept (ANALYSIS). The data obtained facilitates

SELECTION of a suitable insole and shoe. The final and most important step

is the ADAPTATION stage. Both the insole and the inner should be adapted

to the anatomical features of the foot and lower leg and to the type of

sport and intensity of activity involved!

ANALYSIS

SELECTION
