Invitation to Press Programme

Seatrade Europe Cruise & Rivercruise Convention 2011

& Cruise Destination Hamburg

Dear Media Colleagues,

Hamburg, 23 rd of March 2011

general cruise market conditions for the sixth Seatrade Europe Cruise & Rivercruise

Convention, to take place from 27-29 September 2011 in Hamburg, are excellent. The

cruise industry is the fastest growing tourism sector and all eyes are on Europe as it

continues to rapidly expand as both a cruise destination and major source market.

Since 2001, when the first Seatrade Europe convention took place at CCH-Congress

Center Hamburg, this event has developed into a major industry meeting place. Every

two years the port metropolis at the river Elbe becomes the centre of the international

cruise industry, where cruise line decision makers and suppliers get together to discuss

the latest trends and present new innovations.

We would be delighted to welcome you here in Hamburg, our great, green city by the

water! This city is a thriving international port and trading metropolis in the heart of

Europe –with a superb quality of life and a fascinating history. Take this chance to really

experience the city where the Seatrade Europe 2011 will take place!

We enclose an initial draft of the press programme. To participate, please complete and

return the enclosed form by fax.
