Our responsibilities are the placement of all property and<br />
casualty retrocessions of the <strong>Hannover</strong> <strong>Re</strong> <strong>Group</strong> and the<br />
overall coordination of security on all cessions across all<br />
business groups.<br />
Our choice of partner is an extremely important consideration<br />
and we go to great lengths to ensure a distribution<br />

Whole Account unit<br />
This team is responsible for analysing, structuring, placing<br />
and administrating the following protections: Whole<br />
Account protection (WA), which gives catastrophe protection<br />
to the <strong>Hannover</strong> <strong>Re</strong> <strong>Group</strong>, ILWs and SWAPs.<br />
Specific protections for certain classes of business such as<br />
WCA, credit and surety as well as particular regions are<br />
placed within this unit.<br />

and administrating capital market products such as cat<br />
bonds (“Eurus”), collateralised debt obligations, collateralised<br />
quota shares and aggregate XLs (K-Cessions).<br />

through cession limits and for the design and content<br />
