Barium Sulfate – Blanc Fixe HaCoBlanc
The composition of this pigment determines the ideal combination of pigmenting powder of zinc sulfide and the extender power of barium sulfate. Its characteristics
of low abrasive property, high gloss, light resistance and good dispersibility make Lithopone useful in various applications such as paints, polymers,
rubber, paper, printing inks, synthetic fibres, adhesives.
Barium Sulfate (Blanc Fixe) is a synthetic material with a high purity and controlled particle size. This inorganic compound with the chemical formula BaSO 4
is
a white crystalline powder that is odorless and insoluble in water. The basis is mineral barite.
