Bag applicators by HAVER &
BOECKER for valve-bags, known
as the HAVER RADIMAT ® , automate
and speed up the packing process.
The HAVER RADIMAT ® bag applicator
automates your rotating filling
system. As opposed to manual
bag application, the RADIMAT ®
ensures that the packing machines
reaches their top performance.
Empty valve-bags – from a bundle or
a reel – are placed by a machine on
the filling spouts of the packing
machine and match the speed and
valve closing. Bag application is
dependable and over the long-term.
With rotating packing machines,
speeds of up to 6,000 bags per hr.
can be reached.
Various empty bag standbys are
possible
n Empty bag magazine
For frequent changes in bag formats,
the bundle system with direct feeding
from an empty bag magazine is
especially suitable. The magazine
length can vary between 1 and 10
meters.
For various speed requirements, the
RADIMAT ® NC and RADIMAT ® HC
are available.
n Empty bag reel
Empty bag reels with up to 4,000 bags
per reel can also be employed.
Equipping the unit with a double
magazine reduces stoppage times
from reel changes. Operating personnel
are required to pay only minimum
attention.
HAVER automatic bag applicators are
modular and compactly built and
have low space requirements.

Glued or sewn bags made of paper,
polyethylene or polypropylene can
be used. The bag application system
is matched up trouble-free to
different bag sizes. Various bag
magazines are possible for the
provision of empty bags. You can
switch over to different bag sorts
quickly and flexibly.

HAVER RADIMAT ®
The RADIMAT ® system may be
composed of three components:
n The head
n The empty bag magazine
n The turntable
n The head
RADIMAT ® NC: Allows the placing
of up to 3,000 bags/hr. There is no
mechanical link between placer and
packer. This type handles all kinds
of valve bags, specially the woven
PP bags.
HAVER RADIMAT ® with empty bag
magazine, 3-10 m length:
This magazine holds up to 675 bags,
so one operator may attend two
packers at a time. A high continuous
output is guaranteed.
RADIMAT ® HC:
The high speed version. It handles up
to 6,000 bags/hr., a capacity, which
opens new horizons in productivity
and performance.
n The turntable
The turntable is the delight of all project
engineers. It allows flexibility in
the plant layout and makes it
easier to adapt the machine
installation to the building.
n The empty bag magazine
For our customers, we have
developed two versions, which can
be combined with each placer head:
HAVER RADIMAT ® with empty bag
magazine, 1 m length:
This magazine holds up to 225 bags.
It is mounted on a platform with the
placer head, so it is easy to install
and ideal for the retrofit of upgrade
of existing packers of
whatever brand.
